Gaa 2010

Very quiet round here...

You's lot are probably chatting away about "FOREIGN GAMES" - SHAME ON YOU ALL...

Michael Collins is rolling in his grave :nono::nono::nono:

The demise of Derry, Tyrone and Monaghan have had an affect on this thread RHD, looking forward to the weekend, have not made my mind up yet

For me its not only on this thread but the Championship in general CL. Still fecked off with our forward line missing something like 17 wides - many of which were sitters. That lot should never been beaten by Dublin (fair play to them for doing so) & they've fecked many of us off in the process.

The way I can compare my feelings about Tyrone choking two years in a row, is United fluffing their lines in the Champions league over the years. United should have won the Champs League more than twice & Tyrone should have won more than 3 Sams :(

Sickening - absolutely sickening when you know the quality is there but the application is poor!

Just out of interest and genuinly not being arsey. How many Sams have your lads got down the years?? I can just remember the one which clearly isnt enough with the talent thats been there!!

Nb. could look it up on Wiki and prob should know, but wheres the fun in that.

Can't fecking wait!

Dublin remind me a bit of the English football team. I was telling my missus that "they'll bottle it, they always do" and they didn't let me down.

Meh, in the past yes, almost a parallel - but not this year, a new side and we were the underdogs today and surprised everyone by being the better team, and were just really silly at the end. Hopefully the new lads will have learned something today. I'm numb, even though I had no reason to believe we'd win.

Why cant all Tyrone supporters be like RHD?

Condolences to all the Dublin faithful. Its a shit buzz i know but you's can take alot of heart from this years campaign - both in the Championship & in the League. Games like yesterday hinge on fine lines & on another day you's would have won. The better team lost unfortunately & thats a hard pill to swallow i'm sure. It didnt help with United drawing aswell!

Keep the chin up lads & try to take the positives out of it, because there's plenty of them

Congrats to the Cork faithful too...

Second all of that RHD, goodluck to Cork and hard luck to the Dubs

Some learning curve for the Dublin team. hopefully that will stand to them next year
Shit day all round yesterday.

It was a game I wished both teams could lose. ;)

Nah, I actually wanted Dublin to win to put those Cork twats back in their box.

Great result for the Tyrone minors. Mayo really defied the bookies and put it up to them, but they showed great resolve and class in getting the required goals to get the chance for some all ireland glory for the county.

Brolly was right BTW, the conveyor belt of talent is really starting to crank up at the moment, and can only get better as the new facilities come on stream.

Yesterdays game was one of the hardest to take for a long time. Win this game and your in for a great shout in the final.

Dublin controlled the game quite well for the first 55 min but then the wheels started to come off.

Why O' Gara stayed on for that long I don't know, he looked like a drunken neanderthal out there, how a full forward can't take a point to save his life is beyond me. Keaney or Mossy should have been on to put a bit more pressure on the Cork full backs.

I suppose one good thing from the game was that the hill was rocking and the atmosphere with over 82,00 people was one of the best that I've been at. But once again Dublin break my heart for me to go home watch the United match to depress me even more.

Well good luck to Cork but at this stage I want Down to win it, they've played some very entertaining football

Ah now don't be sore CL. You'll depress your greyhound with carry on like that!!

And I did wiki it. Had to laugh at the wording....

If you want to insult a Derryman bring up the old cheap Londonderry jibe. Tell you what hope you never get the chance to say it personally to me, you are a slabber, ignore button from now on if you dont mind.

Holy feck man!!

Your the sensitive type arn't you!! How is pointing out that i had a giggle at wikipedia putting Londonderry on the Derry GAA page insulting you?? Wise up will you. fecking slabber my arse. Love the big man attitude.....

And might I say typical. You've been rising and jibing on this thread for a while now, but as soon as someone says anything back to you you cry like a bitch!!

Again you are a slabber, end of contact

Good stuff CL

Wouldnt say either of ya's overreacted - just thought you's were fallin out needlessly... i.e. Northern County frustration with the way the Championship went. feck it - its only a game at the end of the day :(

Hopefully we'll have United to cheer us all the feck up as the season progresses :nervous:

McEnaney pulls out of Monaghan running...

Monaghan will be looking for a new manager after Seamus McEnaney confirmed that he will not allow his name go forward for the role.

The Monaghan County Board decided earlier this month that McEnaney would be forced to go through the nomination process after a poor finish to the 2010 All-Ireland Championship.

McEnaney has decided that he os not willing to compete for and be interviewed for a position that he had held for six years.

Monaghan lost the Ulster final to Tyrone in disappointing fashion and were then beaten in the qualifiers by Kildare.

There'll be a players revolt after this carry-on....

Sad day for Farney football, caused by the gobshites that are supposed to want whats best for the County :wenger::mad::rolleyes:

Have to agree with you RHD!

I am livid :devil::mad: the way they treated Banty. When he took over 6yrs ago, we at our lowest ever ( by a mile) ranked 28. Ok, we have no major trophy to show, but we are in Div1, probably top 8 in rankings, 2 Ulster finals & a D2 trophy!

Banty would have went, if he felt he could not bring this team any further. However, he made it clear that they could go further, therefore he agreed with the Executive to stay on for another 3 yrs.

Still....... it's the usual scenario of "stupid cnuts know best".

Just had all the St Galls Lads in with me since they used my place as their team builder on the saturday before their big game in March. First time since March 17th that the ST galls players got together themselves away from club and ceremonies and enjoyed themselves. First time the lads had a three week break and Lenny let them loose in here

been in since 5pm and just left all pissed. Great bunch of lads. Got myself a signed St Galls All Ireland jersey presented to me by them as well.

Karl Stewart the most gifted with a Golf club
