I usually rate your posts Spoony but the majority of your posts i've seen on entertainment (films mostly) i'd say you fit firmly into the film student/pretentious mold.
Not sure of the funniest, but this is awesome watching drunk or high.
I found The Life Aquatic and the Royal Tennebuams hilarious, then again a few of my mates hated them. Sideways is funny as feck.

I understand your point, it just grated on my nerves.
My friend and I had a similar difference of opinion with Johnny Depp in the original Pirates of the Carribean. I thought Depp was great and my friend hated the way he spoke and acted the character and couldn't enjoy the film as a result.

Haven't seen shaolin soccer, but agree on kung fu hustle.
Funniest is a tough call - but I do like silly humour as well, as anyone.

Jesus yeah how could I forget Stir Crazy, a fecking masterpiece. I loved hear no evil see no evil aswell.
+I love comedy martial art films but those two didn't do anything for me. That said, I did like Shaolin Soccer. I just couldn't see the humour in Kung Fu Hustle - thought it was trying to hard. You should give Prodigal Son a try.
I liked Royal Tenebaums but it took me ages to get into. Bottle Rocket was fantastic, too. And yeah, Sideways was brilliant - but I think that film's a bit like marmite.
One of Jack Lemmon's finest. And Billy Wilder has to be one of the greatest directors, ever.

Oh, I loved the first Police Academy as well. And Hear No Evil, See No Evil is a good call. Brewster's Million was class too.

I disagree. Airheads was great, as was Billy Maddison and Happy Gilmore had it's moments. Majority of his films are terrible though, I agree
I'm like Smashed though I like a lot of the disney films. Madagascar 1 and 2 were excellent, Shrek 1 was funny, Ice Age was good.

most of my favourites have been mentioned but I'd add Frighteners with Michael J Fox to the list and Groundhog day and Scrooged with Bill Murray.
oh and as I brought christmas films into it, Muppets christmas carol and national lampoons christmas vacation are both great.
