I don’t think we will play that game. We have agreed a deal with Barca and it’s up to them to honour the deal as agreed and sort their differences with the player. Now the second lever is pulled, I think they will get a move on so they can register their new precious without selling much more of the Crown Jewels!Barca will wait until the final minute and rely on the cash filled english club to pay the differed wages (by increasing the agreed fee obviously as a workaround)
Our only risk is if Barca find a way (scheme, loophole, funds, etc.) to ensure they stay within limits even without selling FDJ
Stay strong fellow muppet. Good Times are comingThe confidence is beginning to fade.

Don't be ringing that bell muppet! You've come too far to give up now, we're approaching the home straight!Sorry but my patience has limits you know? If we haven't heard anything by next Friday, I fear a further drop of 1% is inevitable.
WHEN.IS.THIS.HAPPENING???!!!
You know, I don’t think we are ‘trying so hard’ - we agreed a deal and are chill about it, just waiting for the problem to resolve. We’ve seen JM and RA move on to negotiate and seal Martinez from Ajax, and I genuinely think the club is happy how thinks are and confident that the player is ours.Reports saying he doesn't want to join United are surely false.
Why would we be trying so hard for someone who doesn't want to join, especially with Ten Hag in charge. He will have spoken to De Jong since they have worked together so well in the past.
It has to be the wages issue.
'Rashbonlahor' got his knickers in a never-ending twist.Firstly his Brummie accent irritates me like feck. Then his constant insults or crapping on United -- I turned off Talkshite after he came on board.
I need some excitement, we're yet to have an auntie's tweet or see him on holiday with a United player. Not even a liked tweet hinting at something.Patience young muppet...

Trashbonlahor?'Rashbonlahor' got his knickers in a never-ending twist.
To be fair we are on tour down under, and he is on tour in the states so that kinda thing seems to be on hold.I need some excitement, we're yet to have an auntie's tweet or see him on holiday with a United player. Not even a liked tweet hinting at something.
Frenkie is starving my muppetry.
They'll struggle under Xavi with their transfer business as it is. RM will dominate the league for the next few seasons at least.
Can't be a yearly thing, they are at 25% of their revenue already, there's a pretty hard limit into how much they can actually sell and still operate. This is already in last ditch territory.
Also, they definitely won't dominate. They just got humiliated last season, there is nothing to suggest that Xavi is some coaching mastermind, and they signed.... Christensen? Kessie (who is not a midfielder they needed)? 34 year old Lewandowski? Raphinha where they have Dembele?
Even when you go man for man and compare them to the actual top clubs in europe, they hardly have any players that get into City or Liverpools teams ffs, not to mention the vast coaching gap. My guess is they are still banking on the super league bailing them out, because this current plan is suicide as they definitely don't have enough to actually be successful in europe.
Wouldn't say on hold as I imagine talks will still be happening, especially with Kounde hanging in the balance and Barca seemingly wanting him.To be fair we are on tour down under, and he is on tour in the states so that kinda thing seems to be on hold.
I was on the understanding we started from 95% so in fact you’re 4.9% more certain than a few weeks ago. That’s a decent increase in positivity, good work! The confidence is beginning to fade.

Not all about quantity bro, I've been here for 8 years, just 6 years before you catch up "newb"
Over 700 posts in here when 7 would have covered the developments so far
By the way, I had to wait until today to reply, I had used up my newb posting quota for yesterday haha
Smash that like button to stop this travesty ever reoccurring!
Seeing as I don't have a lot of money and a family to look after, I'd not be able to bet much, but I'd put a good £50 or so on him coming. Not much I know, but family and all. It's all good and well muppetting away on a forum, but seriously, if you guys had to bet hard-earned cash and the odds were evens, what would you bet on FdJ coming to Utd?

But not necessarily your own, right?Elite level muppetry would require betting a kidney at the very least.
But not necessarily your own, right?
I'll bet someone's kidney he comes... any volunteers, it's a safe betBut not necessarily your own, right?
Girlfriend wouldn't like me betting the kids kidneys on a football transfer... she just doesn't understand.Brownie alluded to kids I believe?
This is what I'm looking for.Elite level muppetry would require betting a kidney at the very least.
I think it lets them register their new players. No idea if it has any effect on whether FDJ can stay and be paid. This 3rd lever good or bad for us? Now they hve cash to pay him off?

yes I see we signed three players. And are they all the elite type you want? If you think that, I suggest watching Salford instead of us this season. Forest have responded to their manager's wishes and done it speedily. The same cannot be said of our comedy duo - no matter what way you try to spin itThe players we want are hard to get because they are elite. How many players have Forest signed for £50m+?
You seem to miss the fact we have already signed 3 players. Forest can sign 11 players because they are mostly free signings and championship players. Context here is important.again we wan quality over quantity to improve our squad, not just bodies in the building like Forest.
And sell them for kidneys!
what you saying brownie? You can always have some fun making more kids if necessary.
yes whats the point of betting a kidney just to get a new one? what would you do with it? ebay? This is what I'm looking for.
A new kidney.
50 quid is a lot of money where I come from. You must be certain. Doubt eliminated!Seeing as I don't have a lot of money and a family to look after, I'd not be able to bet much, but I'd put a good £50 or so on him coming. Not much I know, but family and all.
Bet it on us signing another Dutch player in the summer. Kidneys galoreyes whats the point of betting a kidney just to get a new one? what would you do with it? ebay?

In all honesty though, I do believe he's coming and we'll hopefully know more soon
