I have no idea but I thought the muppets would know. It’s the same aggregate page that’s keeps getting quoted on here so thought it was a safe betGbsans? Reliable?

If he truly does want to stay you should move on. No point getting a player who doesn't want to be there.
Jones is permanently injured. How often does a player in his prime with no injury issues point blank refuse to leave a club that tells him to feck off?
It tends to be players that have zero chance of getting a similar wage elsewhere that just hold out, like Phil.

Again, the main point is, if he doesn't want to leave, no one can make him leave. I don't think it's that hard to grasp?
Why are we not pursuing alternative targets? I don’t think we have a plan B to be honest.
Thought I was in the christ its hot threadToday is going to be HOT
But isn't he usually the one to save the day completely unexpected?
Starting to be whispers from both sides this weekend and this morning that a deal can't be done.
agreed but our midfield is in a dire state.Because plan B’s tend to be shite.
I’m glad we never had a Sancho plan B two Summers ago for example.

And yet his club are still maintaining (and not whispering) that it’s impossible for him to stay unless he drastically reduces his wage.
Let's play a game everyone.
Player X, plays for Club B, Club B wants to sell Player X to Club G, but Player X does not want to leave Club B, below is the comments from Player X, who at the end left Club B and joined Club G.
"We were told that the Club B would be able to make some money on me if they sold me, but I initially didn't want to leave,"
“it was especially difficult to move to Club G given that Club G were not a top club at the time, having not made a Champions League semi-final appearance in eight years”
"It was a difficult decision, the most difficult one of my career"
"Club G were not among the European elite at that moment and it was a step back for me."
Can you guess who is Player X?
Which Club is Club B, and which is Club G?
Back then we had Greenwood who was more than good enough on the right though
McFred aren't good enough and they're literally our own senior central midfielders

If only we had a couple of promising central midfielder prospects like we had with Greenwood.
But it's not impossible at all. He could just stay and demand Barca to fulfill his contract. It's not his problem they (probably-who knows really) can't register all their shiny new tows. And who knows maybe he even pulls a Bale and doesn't give two shits whether he plays or not.
Yup was resigned myself to this a week ago.
The current circumstances can only be explained by none other than him not wanting to leave, it was never about those deferred wages Barca are spending a lot of money on players and United had increased the upfront fee it would have been sorted by now.
Also explains why they didn't leave him off the tour like some of the other players they were forcing out, most likely resigned to him staying and the carrot not the stick means he will more likely accept a lower short term wage.
Poster X thinks about making a new funny post, the rest of the forum thinks the post was unfunny, showed a horrendous lack of humour and quite frankly a piece of turd.
Can you guess who poster X is?
We don't. He was a once in a decade talent. Those young boys look promising but aren't close to his level of talent.
Fellow muppets.
Rest easy for we are now in a win win position.
The club have gotten on with their business while this saga unfolds so it isn’t another Moyes/fellaini window.
As for FDJ, this either comes off and we get a top talent with a point to prove or Barca accelerate their financial ruin.
I will be pretty pleased either way!
Bale was in his 30’s and had won everything, cared more about golf than footy & was a guaranteed starter for his national side regardless.
They don’t need to be close to Greenwood, they need to be close to a “plan B”.
