It's basically him and Ornstein trying to keep up at this point. I don't mind it, but there's nothing new in there, unfortunately.
Yeah it's nice to have a good source report it but literally just says Arnold and Murtough have gone to Barcelona.

Murtough an Arnold are in Spain apparently.
The A Team are in Barca
So far, we have sent Murtough and Arnold to Spain to see if we can get a paella sponsor, someone suggested getting Valdes in as back up keeper. Berbaclass is getting his de Jong out in anticipation of the deal being finalised…we are still at the will he wont he stage
Frenkie went back to training yesterday at Barca, but Murtough and Arnold are actually in Barcelona right now. These are the blokes who can actually sign off transfers, so it's significant.
almost nothing. Still where you left us a couple of days back
Thank you! Much appreciated.

One more question. Are Murtough and Arnold in Spain to "finalize the deal", or to "kick-start MUFC's bid"?

If anyone tries to push a narrative on here that ‘he doesn’t want to join’, they should be instantly banned. No way do we put this much effort in unless we’re 100% sure.
Does "he wants to join, if someone pays him his goddamn money" any better?

Thank you! Much appreciated.

"Until this deal is complete, we refuse to leave. So we'll just sit in this lovely weather drinking pints of cold beer. Maybe go to a few museums... Restaurants.... Take your time."

You are only kidding yourself.

My memory is awful .but I seem to recall Woodward flying off somewhere to seal a deal and nothing ever happened

Question is whether this is a sign off or trying to keep a half dead patient alive for another week

I think he was flying back to England early from his holiday to complete a big transfer (that never happened)

I think he flew from our pre season in Australia back to Manchester for ‘major transfer business’

Think it might have been the year we signed spaghetti bolognese wig on the last day of the window. Load of shit.

Thank you! Much appreciated.

The insinuation is that our CEO Arnold only goes to these meetings to give the golden handshake and sign things off, hence why all these muppets are getting excited. Or he might be getting impatient like the rest of us and wants to be there himself. Or the most realistic answer - none of us have a clue really.

It was for Fabregas I believe, pretty sure.
It was never said for any player, but we had recently a 25m bid turned down for fabregas so we all assumed it was for him.

Be some singing this! I’m only just starting to believe it is happening. He can realistically change the style of play almost in his own. So comfortable on the ball, press resistant, very good passing and great movement.

On paper, this is the best signing we can make in midfield. I wouldn’t have believed it could happen a few months ago, but here we are with a chance of actually pulling it off.
