But what is the cut off timeline here ? It’s just over 2 weeks left for Barcelona before all hell breaks loose for them as it’s reported. But they don’t seem to be that desperate at all and are amazingly calm. I’m surprised how stubborn they are to dig their heels in. I don’t quite get it. I would have thought they would be happy to get a fee around €70m for de Jong given time is against them but we are quite apart in agreeing a fee for de Jong as reported by Ornstein and whitwell.In getting the best price patience is the key. We know that both sides are desperate to either sell of buy him. So its a matter of who blinks first.
You don't expect some progression in this negotiation to be linear or have some development every day. ETH only started working for United like 2 1/2 weeks ago.
