Is this Woodward's account? It has nothing to do with the £17 million. We’d have happily paid that as a signing on fee.

Thank you my fellow muppet. We are all as one hereProud of you muppet brother @Brownie85
Here here. We’ll played @Brownie85 !We should all be very proud of him, it's a top-class achievement.
None of that means he has inside sources. But it does mean he may well have a bias towards Spanish football and Barcelona.
Thank you very much Penna... praise from the top, can't beat that!We should all be very proud of him, it's a top-class achievement.
You're well on the way too my friend! Closing in on that magical 2000 markHere here. We’ll played @Brownie85 !
Fantastic achievement to be fairYes, yes it is. I suppose I just went full muppet this year and dedicated myself.
Would be the icing on the cake if he signed! But still, it's been an awesome time even if he doesntFantastic achievement to be fair
Interesting comments from Graham Hunter re FDJ's development since at Barca...
Talks about him not developing much physically or as a footballer since joining Barca.
Also says he's in the comfort zone because of the crazy money and the fact he and his girlfriend like the lifestyle in Barca. They recently bought a home there.
I’m entirely convinced that he doesn’t want to come here at all, otherwise he’ll be a United player already by now. Loves life too much in Barca with his missus while earning a shedload of money and who can blame him
Not happening geebsMs piggy reach around to keep you going?

Not really, because he was probably giving the indications that he wanted to go, but there was likely some outside interference influencing his decision (Partner, family etc)Kinda funny to think back to all the insiders (and some muppets here) claiming that United wouldn't try to sign him for so long if they weren't sure he wanted to come.
Anyway, the main purpose here is to reach 2000 now.
Sounds good to me... I think Antony will happen for sure. FDJ i still believeAntony then FDJ. In that order
I don't know... He wouldn't raise much in the way of transfer fee, but he'd free up a whole crap ton of wagesI wonder if this hinges on Ronaldo leaving to raise fundage?!
We badly need a midfielder who can keep the ball and calm the team down in possession. FDJ the ideal, but if not him, we shouldn’t end the window without one otherwise our team will be spent by the run-in, as all this manic running without controlled rest in possession is completely unsustainable.
We can hope...Yeah hopefully today proved that point to Erik

We haven't even presented him yet, of course we're not selling himI’ve said it weeks ago and I’ll say it again.

Otherwise, status quo remains until January, when Barca will be under more pressure as his wage is going up each year, so they will try to force him out again. They could end up screwing his career by playing him out of position or benching him. That may mean he misses the World Cup and ends up leaving on a free in a few years, but it will be a massive risk for anyone to take him on then having not played consistently for years and having been at war with his club.
Real Madrid tried that tactic on Bale, but he was always going to get into the Wales team even if he hadn't been playing regularly, and then he was fully rested and played brilliantly for Wales, securing them World Cup qualification. He didn't care as much as this was at the end of his career, and he had nothing left to achieve other than with Wales.
Cos stone cold said so!This is the bottom line.
