I think there are a lot of deals still to be done this window, and our chances of signing de Jong are probably tied to a few of them. Ronaldo's wages need to be off the books, almost certainly.
I'd be hugely disappointed if we miss out on what might well be our only chance at de jong because we want to spunk 90m on Antony. Would much rather loan ziyech or pulisic if that's an option for us. Antony can wait.

Seems like there are lots of things being made up in the last few days of the window.
To be honest, United have been pretty good at keeping things underwraps this summer, and i'm really not complaining about it at all. I prefer that to all the leaks that were geting our hopes up and then having them dashed quickly
