Ask De Jong if he wants to have Casemiro as his "bodyguard" instead of Busquet. Then his answer may be more positive than expected.

To be honest we should go for Antony and FDJ. Look at it as a one off investment that will make us more likely to compete and be in the CL for years to come. We need players. Sell off a few fringe players to help balance the books.

De Jong could potentially outscore them both in his next 30 games. Carrick scored half of his CL goals in that game against Roma.
