I think he’s been reliable for Chelsea as of this season with some suggestion he has links with the owners.

I do think there’s some truth in that. But he’s been the only journalist I’ve seen repeatedly still linking us with De Jong.
I think at point we’d still like to sign him if he suddenly made it known that he will leave but we aren’t actively pushing hard for him as there are much more pressing needs.
