Be sad when the window closes and we've got nothing else to focus on but the actual football :nervous:
At that point I’ll just be looking forward to the World Cup and which player to captain in my fantasy football. Other than that, I’ll be checking the plants have enough water and making sure my bins are out for collection.

I love the idea that anyone thinks De Jong might actually still consider joining this shower of shite. If he had doubts before, the last two games will have absolutely cemented the fact that United are not a club you want to join if you you're a decent player with any ambition.

Yeah we have buried our chances for good

Great to see the RedCafe virgins slagging off Laporta and the rest of the Barcelona Top Shaggers Club. He’s out there pulling levers and drilling beavers, eating at the top table 6 times a day.

Seeing the clips of Maguire and De Gea giving hospital passes to Eriksen yesterday, is there an amount of money on this planet that could possibly convince De Jong to come and play with them?

Have to be up there with Ronaldo money

They were pretty keen on signing De Jong anyway, but Kante's ever-increasing injury record will surely be causing them some concern now. A hamstring injury is not sufficient reason to bring a new player in, but Chelsea might feel that it makes the existing case for De Jong slightly stronger.
Pretty sure any Kante injury won't make them consider de Jong even more, seeing as they already have extremely ample cover, they'll likely use one of their many other midfielders. I wouldn't place too much emphasis on any injury

No matter what you do, nothing could be more annoying than:

a) this infuriating transfer saga

and

b) the start of season that we've had...

nah the annual thing of players doing alright before the window closes and then playing crap until the next window approaches pisses me off more. We have opportunity to change this. Whether we take it is another matter but it’s possible. Our last manager should be re hired to change the structure of the club and help the current manager. I’m sure they’d be on the same page now!

Unlucky that he's coming to United then isn't it. They have bigger priorities.
These guys are bidding £40m for Anthony Gordon just for shits and giggles. They don't care about priorities.

Kante and Kova both injured now.

Hmm.

Splash ~£100m because two injuries? Not seeing it
Midfielder is still 3rd on our list of priorities but I don’t think anyone can be shocked if Tuchel asks for it to be pushed forward.

How long is Kovacic out for? Kante just did his harmstring, didn't he?
Doesn’t sound like Kova’s is that serious. Kante doing his hammy looked bad, though.

Imagine if we have De Jong and De Tomas in the stands next week watching us get de molished.

Where does Alex Crook report this?
Looks like yet another case of that mufcMPB account just making shit up.
