Sky Bet odds have swung a lot today. Barca now favourites marginally but it’s a 3 horse race again. Yesterday it was Chelsea the big favourites with Barca second and united outside third.

Playing with ETH who has already gotten De Jong to play his best football is the best decision he can make. Also he would be the leader of that midfield. Staying at Barca, where De Jong's best position doesn’t even exist and were the fans are already upset with him seems like a terrible idea. I truly don't understand him now that United even agreed to pay him more.
 
This saga has found its way to my FB feed. Barca is taking a beating 99-1. It usually (several threads) stating that the honourable thing for Frenkie to do is the take the wage hit, following by an avalanche of shit on Barca for its disgraceful behavior.

One example:

..OR...YOU as FC Barcelona take a look in the mirror, admit you f*cked up, apologize to Frenkie in public, respect Frenkie's contract and hire some good accountants and financial experts to clean up after you and you lay low for quite some time instead of wasting money on players you obviously can't afford right now and wasting other peoples time with your bullsh*t.. the current board is incapable of leading the club apparently, you made one big joke of FC Barcelona..big disgrace and shame on you all..
