Chelsea not wanting to sell Alonso or Azpilicueta to Barca. I only hope Laporta is petty (and fecking stupid) enough to refuse to negotiate with them for Frenkie now.

Not sure I believe this, with Chelsea willing to sign that Brighton LB whose name I can't spell

Could be a bargaining tactic by Chelsea. Chelsea have things Barca want, we don't, that is a disadvantage.

agent of alonso and pjanic at barcelona, so maybe its to sell alonso and finalize a pay cut deal for pjanic.

Recently, representatives from Marcos Alonso's agency have come in to hold talks with Barcelona, so maybe this isn't really dad as of yet, especially after Cucurella's transfer to Chelsea is close to being done.

Both contracts expire next summer, they'll just negotiate with them in January and sign them on a free, it's a disadvantage to Chelsea.

I'm sure the players in question are ecstatic to have a significant transfer at this stage of their career, block due to transfer window politics.

Sounds like an OnlyFans bit of content.

You laugh but it is one way to fix Barcelona's problem, the other week I saw that one girl made 40 something millions in a year. Now imagine how much Laporta could get from Barcelona fans?

Man, United transfers always attract the worst of the twitter lot. With Sancho it was Jan Aage, with FdJ it's Romero. Clout chasers masquerading as journalists.

Both are relatively old, are Barca going to wait a year to sign a pair of 34 and 33 year old fullbacks? Plus, that's a whole year of Alonso out driving, who knows what could happen.

What hopes are people still clinging to with this deal now?
That United wouldn’t be stupid enough to waste 3 months trying to sign him if didn’t want to come?
Are you really confident we wouldn’t be that stupid?
There hasn’t been a shred of positive news about this deal in weeks.
‘Embarrassing’ has risen to 18.5% in the poll now.

Lots of banning when this is done

Still positive, will be until it's done either way

Romero is very good. Him being an attention seeker is annoying, sure, but he's a pretty solid source
I guess it's the nature of the game now after what Romano accomplished in the twitter space. But it really is annoying seeing the same 'things are happening' tweet every day. He's clearly trying to get his own catchphrase going.

He's not even Tweeting them out. They're coming from a terrible aggregator via someone watching his stream. Romero himself barely Tweets things out besides important bits of news, quotes, and his stream announcements.

Not true. Helena Condis who is rated Tier 1 for Barca reported less than a week ago that he is almost certain to leave and United are the most likely destination.

Last time he had news he couldn't share right away it was about Raphinha if i remember correctly. I wonder if this one is something about Barca opening negotiations with City for Silva?

That's what I'm thinking of, yeah. Now that Chelsea are in the race for de Jong, I wouldn't be surprised if Barcelona are pushing for Bernardo Silva in order to put more pressure on Frenkie to leave the club.

I think it'll be something like that regarding Silva. Pressure will be on Frenkie which in turn will pass through to Chelsea and United to get stuff done.

Then it becomes a case of who wants him more. I see United coming in and making him an offer they believe he can't refuse with them covering his deferred wages with a sign on fee etc. Chelsea will likely use the CL and their main draw. If they're signing more midfielders though, surely he must look at that and think the competition is going to be very fierce?
