Although I would argue moyes and ETH is different. Moyes had no calibre or history of winning anything. Also, his football was a very different style to what Utd had been playing for many years. He was out of his depth at the time.Oh yeah I forgot about that!
Funny how much things change but don’t at the same time. We’ve got ourselves a manager who is signing players he has close ties to just like moyes. Yet we all believe this time around it’s much more positive.
Even though it’s a lesser league, ETH has had a successful time at ajax with successful runs in Europe against some of the elite teams. His philosophy of football is more in line with how Utd would want to play. We will have to see how successful it turns out.
