:( Bye Robbie, we'll miss you, please don't score a hat-trick against us when we meet Leeds at Elland Road

isnt that vidukas job? ;)

Doesn't make sense. Why would you sell your 2nd best striker. He's much better than Litmanen and Heskey imo. And Baros is still unproven. A bad move for LFC.

agreed. He's obviously not going to get many starts at LFC. What now with Smith and Robbie Keane ? Who going to get the shaft there ?

Michael Owen is by far Liverpools best striker, but i'm gutted about Fowler leaving (if he accepts it)

That'll be that spiteful cnut Thomson trying to muscle in on Houllier's job. It's all downhill from here scousers - the boat is rocking.

REDS AGREE FOWLER FEE WITH LEEDS

Liverpool have confimed that they have agreed a fee with Premiership rivals Leeds to sell striker Robbie Fowler.

The fee is believed to be around £11m after Leeds refused to meet the original asking price of £15m.

Fowler's Anfield future has been in doubt for some months after it became clear he was no longer a member of manager Gerard Houllier's first-choice striking line-up.

An era is over at Anfield ehh Red Tide. Why Fowler though. Why not offload Litmanen. He hasn't done jack since coming over last year.

Just answered that above (contract), but i've heared we've lined up another strikler (not including Baros).

hell do well at Leeds though,,

just shows what Pool are all about,

a promising youngster who loves the club and they just fuch him out so they can bring in Johnny foreigner,

a fuchin disgrace to a disgraceful football club

fair fuchs to FOwler if he goes, hes treated like dirt there, hell do well at a real club

great post mate - couldn't have said it better my self - an absolute disgrace.

See ya Robbie..

All the best, pity you couldn't re reach the standards you had previously set..

Best move all round

I've always said that a Robbie Fowler in good shape is the best striker there is. I'm sure moving to Leeds will be good for him, but I'm sure it will be a hard thing emotionally for him to move from Anfield.

Houllier is the manager, he has the final decision, not Thommo.

fecking hell!

the 2 clubs he will have played for are sheep and thieves

poor sod, i feel sorry for him........for once

This would be like Becks leaving United. Well maybe not, but close. Where the hell are the sheep getting all this money from ??? 7m for Seth Johnson, 11m for Fowler, 18m for Rio, 12m for Robbie Keane, 6m for Viduka. That's 54m in just over a year. More than we've spent. At least this will hopefully mean that they won't go after D'Allesandro anymore.

Bollox - Fowler and Tompson don't get on - it's been well publicised. Tohmpson is taking over man - it's obvious.

Plank, Houllier is in contact with the club on a day to day basis he would have had the final word on the deal (he was the one who accepted a bid from Chelsea for Fowler previously)

That's what Thommo wants you to think though. He's a clever bastard. You'll see.

Don't talk rubbish. What proof have you got to make such wild accusations?
Houllier obviously consulted the board and his staff before making the decision.
End of.

hes injured,,again your changing the subject ;)

anyway,, If i were a Pool fan and Fowler was forced id be disgusted. By selling Fowler pool will be selling there soul,

fowler, the fans man,, the man who supports the dockers, he hates everton & Man Utd,

Mcmannaman left of his own free will so fuch him but Fowler wouldnt leave unless hes been fuched out by Thompson who seems to be quiet the facist and cant hack the responsibility, look at his rxn to Hamann on Saturday.

It's only a rumour but if Fowlup was signing for Leeds we would be signing Paul Robinson from them.
