Football sticky threads

I think the forums were on Manutd.com before they were hacked or something and had to be closed.

The guy was a German if I remember correctly. His name was Red Army Germany, I think.

I remember when i was really young, maybe 13/14 before I signed up on here, Everton had an official forum but had to be closed down because the club didn't want to be associated with the majority of the forum calling each other and using language which would see you issued with lifetime bans from football nowadays.

I remember Manutd.com site got hacked and someone took over our accounts in the forum. There was a lot of issue specially for those who had purchased tickets online with their personal info being in the hand of hacker.

I’m guessing that that included a lot of racial, sexist, and homophobic slurs?

Pretty much, and very bad disabled 'jokes'.

Crikey, that's rough!

I can't believe I missed this on Friday.

Still absolutely no idea what his actual problem was, because as much as others have tried to explain it as being a lack of traffic, he's spent all of his time vaguely referring to the time it takes him to run it, which seems completely unaffected.
Think he realised he wasn't able to keep his head above water anymore. Running comps for everything from PL/CL/domestic cups to international friendlies and Cambodian women's 3rd tier takes its toll. So when this happened it was the perfect excuse to opt out. I suspect he's feeling great this week not having the burden of 34 different competitions on his shoulders.
