Football Manager Wonderkids who never were...

There was a guy whose last name was Muslimovic. Maybe first name was Zlatan? He was good.

I take personal credit for United signing Anderson. I discovered him in Fm06/07. An absolute beast of a player. Nelson Rivas: Not exactly a wonder-kid but I would always buy him from Inter (always for £2m). He had 19 pace & acc so no one could go past him! Other mentions include Freddy Guarin: who used to be winger; Matty James: my captain from league 2 to the premier league to UEFA cup winner. Never once looked out of place.

Our Chicha was never really a wonderkid in that sense of the word, but still lightyears ahead of his current level on all FM games. He's produced Messi- and Ronaldo-like numbers for me on both FM12 and FM13.

I haven't got Messi/Ronaldo numbers from him, but in FM14, I've had him lead the league in scoring, multiple years running. For Swansea and Arsenal.

I had him at 80 goals in a single season once on FM12, if my memory serves me correctly.

Alan Borgvardt from AGF in Denmark was brilliant in the 99/00 version. Just had to make sure you got a good version of him. Stats changed in every game.

Aye, he would destroy me every single time. FM almost did the same with Papiss Cisse by giving him a 20 for finishing in FM13. He never had much luck against me though.

Yes! Supat..always signed him as a 15 16 year old. Got a feeling he actually works for sega.

I remember someone made contact with him on facebook a few years ago. He said he still gets people adding him and telling him how amazing he was on the game.

Supat was a legend!

Our very own Luke Chadwick.

Greek keeper Dionisis Chiotis. I remember seeing him start a random Champions League game for AEK on a highlights program, to which I paid great attention to. He let in 4 I think I never heard of him again.

Srna. What's he doing now? Pfft.

Edit: I always liked to get Hugo Vienna. I don't think he could run, but was awesome otherwise.

Are you serious? Srna turned out to be a great player. He's just not that popular because he's from croatia and decided to stay in Donezk.

And Georges Pomaski as assistant manager
had amazing stats

I sold Rooney to keep Hernandez. In my 4-2-3-1 system he bagged in goals for fun. Consistently over 30 in the league alone and consistently over 40-50 every year until I sold him in like 2017-2018 for 40m.

When I played CM03/04 I used to ALWAYS sign the two following players:

Daniel Braaten - LW, signed for 35k
Trond Erik Bertelsen - LW/LB, signed for 30k

Every time I would sign these two, and every time I'd stick Braaten up front and he'd score over a goal-a-game every season, no matter what league and who I was playing as.

Meanwhile Bertelsen became the best LB in the game bar none.

I still remember their names because they were so good (in the game), and the fact I could sign both for virtually nothing - coming from the Norwegian League - meant I could sign them for any team I played.

I know Braaten spent some time at Bolton I believe, and ended up in Toulous... Though I'm not even sure Bertelsen even existed.

Chucks Nwoko
Toton Zola Mokouku
Henri Saivet
Kim Kallstrom
Gabbi Torje
Paulo Henrique (Ganso)

And most recently - we will see .... Balanta

Plays for Viking now.

Dionisis Chiotis, best GK I ever had in a CM/FM series.
