Gaming Football Manager 2015

Tried to buy him from Arsenal one save, in their reserves with a year, maybe two. Made an offer a little above his (tiny) value, they came back with 50m. Nope.

He's a bit crap. I've just given him a free transfer.

The gap between Eresdivise and the CL  First 6 games as Ajax ended up with 6 wins in a row, 18-2 in GD and an aura of invincibility around the stadium.. First game in CL, away to Juve; 2-0 down within the first 10 minutes..

:(

Edit: Lost 5-2, conceded 4 goals from corners and a penalty..

So, in the summer, both Wenger and LvG retired. Took a punt on either, and my board lost the plot. Apologise or resign. Buh bye feckers.

One week later, Spartak Moscow offer me a job, 99m to spend and 780kpw, they also already have Barbosa, but he's out for 2-3 months.

Same thing happened to me except I got the Arsenal job. That's a mad transfer budget for Spartak.

Lucky!

Still, this was intended as a roaming save, high time I roamed. Strange thing is, they don't even have European football, mad money, probably struggle for players, will raid Almere for a few, hopefully.

I'm intending to roam too but I think I'll stick with Arsenal and try to win the CL, then I'm not sure.

Hmm, should have looked closer at the Russian league rules, only 7 foreigners allowed in the matchday squad. No qualifiers for what count as foreign, so I'm assuming all non-Russians. Shouldn't have signed two Argentines and an African.

I make so many deals with the future in mind I forget half of them. I've got some bloke called Toma joining me in 2 days (Jan 2020) as well as Ronaldo. Don't remember him.

Did the same sort of thing with club Brugge, when I took over the only had 4 homegrown playing in the squad and were all shit so I sold 3 of them. Brought in some foreign replacements. Then when my first game came up I find out I need 4 homegrown players in the match day squad. Some youngsters got a early taste of first team football.

Promoted to the premiership at the second time of asking. Have brought in Subotic, Fellaini, Bakkali, and Angelino so far. I had Walcott on loan for the last few months of last season, but he wants crazy wages. Messed up on Dzeko offering him low wages and now he won't renegotiate, rooney isn't interested either.

Rather than doing the same old FM Experiment, I have an idea. We should do a joint save, in that one person starts a save, does a season, and then passes it on to someone else from the caf and they then do a season, and so on. Could be a bit of fun if we got enough people interested?

I'm in!

William has also joined us on loan for a year.

edit:work permit rejected. feck off.

It's a great real-life tradition for Spartak's managers to moan about the limit

It's a stupid rule though, I remember how playing in CL knock-outs with Mordovia was easier than playing in the league as I could finally play my best team there.

Edit:
Man, because of the foreigner rule, Russians are so overpriced, and mostly rubbish.

This is very realistic also

Started a save with PSV. Always wanted to do a Dutch save.

Absolutely smashing the Eredivisie. Depay/Locadia/Narsingh are all beasts. 15 games in and have 42 points, Depay has 21 league goals from LW

On a 12 game winning streak right now.

Yeah PSV were my main rivals when I was Feyenoord manager. They even tried to poach me at one point as I won two leagues on the bounce there before leaving for Arsenal.

James Wilson has just been ruled out for 7 months with a viral infection :nervous: Bit serious for a game that ffs.

Score, nailing this job!

Like, in the premier league, a player with 50+ international appearances for Brazil. That would literally never happen.
Think it has to be a bug with the work permits, I don't get 'em either, and for regular internationals.

My main GK is out for 6 weeks and my back-up GK is out on loan. I thought I'd put a can be recalled clause in the deal but I think they removed it in the negotiations and I missed it so I'm a bit fecked.

Just managed to scrape through an away CL game against Dortmund 1 - 0 with my Under 18s keeper rated half a star but now I'm rushing to get a temp out of contract GK in before the League Cup Final against United in 4 days. It's a leap year in 2020 so I get 29 days in Feb which may be a blessing. I've sent the scouts out on an urgent trip to find me a decent out of contract GK.

Right, bought Depay in my first save with United and my God... Put him on the left wing as a raumdeuter or whatever the hell that's called. Only January and the lad is already on 13 league goals  Also bought Daniel Alves for 6million pounds, which was a steal.

Targeting 12 wins 14 draws this season, I'd be happy with that.

Didn't get one in time but 17 year old Brian Morris is a penalty shootout hero. League Cup won :)

Well, after my Euro League campaign in which we ended getting overpowered, I went on to wrap up the league title for the second time.

This season started and we Went through the CL qualifying rounds beating La Fiorita 12-0 on aggregate

and then on to the next round beating Differdange 12-0 on aggregate.

Next up to Olympiakos, tied 1-1 away, then pulled off a 4-0 home win to move onto the final qualifying round.

This was my stumbling block last time, and up came Red Bull Salzburg. They beat me 1-0 at their ground...return leg...a 2-0 win back in Wales!

Champions League football is on its way to TNS!

Although having a group with Barcelona, Man City, and FC Porto might end rather abruptly

Ah well, already another 6M in the bank is a plus.
