Nike didn't so much lose United, as chose not to match adi's deal. That may appear like splitting hairs, but if Nike really wanted to keep United, then they could and would have.

The fact that Arse went to Puma and us to adi is more indicative of a shift in their strategy, than it is of them simply losing clubs.

Or Adidas offered us so much that Nike couldn't afford to compete, despite wanting to continue the relationship. It's impossible for us to know.

Nike could have afforded to compete - they chose not to.

It's not impossible to know at all ;)

Yeah, I get the feeling that they don't really mind not sponsoring teams as long as the top players are wearing their stuff. Or they just don't find sponsoring teams worth it, period.

I was surprised to see the swoosh on the officials kits last season. I thought Nike didn't want to make referees kits.

Chelsea's promotion looks more like a flyer for one of those grime rap battle events...

Wish there was a competition in football that banned sponsors on kits.
New Ireland jersey for the rugby world cup came out yesterday. Means I'll have a nice shirt with no big logo to wear for football and rugby internationals for the next 4 years!

The hell is Oscar doing there? Wiping off lipstick?

Oscar looks like someone's just slapped him and he's wiping blood off his lip.

At a quick glance, I thought that was Gerrard and Suarez either side of Sturridge. Liverpool have really nice, understated kits this season. A world away from what Warrior was giving them.

Liverpools kits aren't bad at all this season.

The home one is a bit fussy with the pattern on it, but the black and white ones are both really nice.

Yep nice kit, not actually sure how many times we will wear in the all white form, but I do like it.

They have all gone down pretty well with the supporters.

This promo is hilarious.

Lovely shirt though. It looks much better on the players than the leaked versions would suggest.

Yeah that white kit is very good. Warrior and New Balance are the same company though.

It looks like every Chelsea home kit ever just with a different logo on it.

This is beautiful in my opinion. Love white kits.
