That is absolutely stunning.

That Roma kit is a thing of a beauty. A map in the material, ffs. A fecking map!

After seeing these posts I felt compelled to buy Roma's new kit today (all their kits look amazing)

That is the new Roma 15/16 authentic home kit.
The replica looks slightly different.

Yeah the replica looks nowhere near as good imo, I think I'll pick the proper one up, same with their away shirt. They're getting more money off shirt sales than Utd for me this season.

If mufc ever removes that horrific Chevy emblem our jerseys might have a shot.

The sleeves roll up with this detail in them, which is pretty cool.
Why? What significance does it have?

That Roma kit is gorgeous, but I feel you could have said that for God knows how many years!

You bought an original shirt or replica?

Original.... I prefer the authentic ones. They fit a bit better as well.... Unless it's the arsenal one which looks like it fits like spandex. I don't think you can wear those outside of the pitch.

Lucky for them, they dont have Chevy as their sponsors, otherwise they could have small Chevy logo on that map, marking their car shop in Rome.

If only those original kits werent that expensive. :/

Why couldn't Nike have just made our kits like Roma? Every year their kits look awesome.

Maybe its just the colour scheme. They were nice when they were with Kappa. (I think Kappa is the name!)
Kit makers will have a lot of designs ready, but they don't make the decision on which kits are chosen, it's done by the club. For all we know, they may have come up with something similar for United in the past, but it may not have been chosen.

Thats... different.

From Wiki of why they have a pink away shirt, and why their current home shirt is black and white:

Juventus have played in black and white striped shirts, with white shorts, sometimes black shorts since 1903. Originally, they played in pink shirts with a black tie, but only because they had been sent the wrong shirts. The father of one of the players made the earliest shirts, but continual washing faded the colour so much that in 1903 the club sought to replace them.[65]

Juventus asked one of their team members, Englishman John Savage, if he had any contacts in England who could supply new shirts in a colour that would better withstand the elements. He had a friend who lived in Nottingham, who being a Notts County supporter, shipped out the black and white striped shirts to Turin.[65] Juve have worn the shirts ever since, considering the colours to be aggressive and powerful.[65]

Get them off Aliexpress, the shirts they sell are copies of originals. Agree they're a much better fit and the material is a bit lighter, so better to play football with
Got a few from there and you're right they're very good given they're replicas. Bought Argentina, Colombia and United shirt, I'm very satisfied with all of them.

Rayo Vallecano with what's probably the most morally correct away kit of the season:

Each color of the rainbow sash represents the club's support to a certain movement or group of people, while the complete rainbow sash stands for the fight against discrimination for sexual orientation:

  • Red stands for those who fight against cancer
  • Orange stands for those who fight for the integration of people with disabilities
  • Yellow stands for those who never lose hope
  • Green stands for those who fight to protect the environment
  • Blue stands for those who fight against child abuse
  • Purple stands for those who fight against sexual violence

Aren't those adverts based on your browsing history?

Possibly but this is a new work laptop and I incognito any time I use it for personal use (Like important stuff like checking redcafe)

Who's responsible for coming up with these boring, generic kit launch slogans every year? 'Be The Difference', 'Holding Nothing Back' etc.

'Here's the new kit that got leaked three months ago on some blog but is now being officially unveiled as though nobody's already seen it' would be a more accurate one if slightly too wordy.

How come Juve are allowed to release their Adidas jerseys now? Didn't they switch from Nike to Adidas too? Why would their contract with Nike not end on July 31st like ours?

Good question..anyone?

Heard two things:

1) Potential sponsors think they are asking for too much money but Roma will not budge

OR...

2) Roma is trying to get one sponsor to pay for both the kit sponsor and the stadium naming rights and they have not been able to negotiate that type of package with anyone

They're missing out on 10 or 15 million Euros a year, but at least their kit looks amazing
