Football Betting Thread 2017/2018

Apologies, I went to sleep for an hour and woke up for the finish. Hope you didn't cash out, Raptors look solid to win now. Lakers lack of experience shows.

No worries, got all my money back from the Kanter loss (which was on two parlays)

Warriors -3.5. They're getting back into it tbf but still a bit off. Warriors getting nothing from the officials either.

Dude you're almost there! What a comeback! I wonder what the odds were for warriors when they were down big..

Yeah Kanter one was tough, not just because it lost but the circumstances of it. It was basically coach decision because otherwise he was comfortably covering that. I couldn't factor that in.

Gortat was just flat out bad bet. I had Ibaka and Jokic on the threefold coupon going good and George missing by one rebound. Still 3/6 is decent considering one lost because coach got angry and took him off and the other missed by just 1 rebound.

Going to have some football distraction tomorrow:

United or draw
Arsenal
Liverpool
Leverkusen
Bayern
Celtic
Slovan Bratislava
Shakhtar

3.69/1.

Anyway, took Del Potro, Goffin and no tie-break in Federer's match. First two are in the hunt for ATP Finals, plus, they are just better than opponents, so took. And Federer is Federer.

This passed, but not without agonizing following of each and every one of the matches. I eventually cashed out at 6-5 Goffin in first set. I'd probably lose my mind in the tie-break if I stayed on it. I think there was 6-7 mini-breaks in a row.

I need a less stressful hobby, like fighting in a war or something.

So... Hollyhock decided to score 2 goals in an away game after failing to score in 12 out of 19 away matches

fecking Kanter got 19 in 16 mins, he would have crushed if he had actually played normal minutes , what can you do though? Clearly a winning bet long run.

Valencia to beat Alaves midday K.O @1.7. I think these are generous odds, Valencia are flying at the moment and should win pretty comfortably.

Last night I took Kanter on two parlays that would've easily won if the coach didn't feck us up.

Then when those lost I took Ibaka over 5.5 rebounds and that won... I also did that parlay of Wiz +16 and Raps. In the end made a small profit. Anyways I don't know how you don't sleep bro. I was up until 1:30 AM last night and woke up now for 7 AM to watch the game.

I usually wake in the middle of the night this season and stay up for 2-3 hours. Always promise myself it's just for half an hour before final quarter of the game I am watching is finished but then I switch to another and another.. going to cut that next week, I am barely awake today.

Really fancy Gornik Leczna to score in-play. Currently just below evens but will jump on at about 6/4.

Edit - Also on over 2 goal line at FC Samtredia at slightly above evens.

Never thought I would see the name of my almost hometown team mentioned on here.

Haha well I'll be holding you responsible if they let me down then ;)

Edit - No dice, Gornik didn't have their shooting boots with them, they had 8 shots after I placed my bet and only 1 on target. Refund at Samtredia which is annoying as there was a goal within 30 seconds of my bet.

Not as comfortable as I thought but got the W.

Arsenal, City, Livingston, Shaktar and Leverkusen @3.14

Three teams to watch in-play in Scotland to score in the 2nd half - Ayr, Raith Rovers, Livingston. Treble pays 1.5/1, little bit on that, but hopefully be able to get on some as singles in-play.

Surely my accumulator cannot get screwed by 1.10 Celtic?

Now Shakhtar concede to the worst team in Ukrainian league

Cashed this out! Too many one goal games for my liking, cashed out at around 2.6 still some tidy profit!

Celtic and Shakhtar come fecking on, you can't screw me over like this.

Comfortable win, managed to get on Ayr to score as a single, others scored too quick. Got on Celtic RT9 corners at 2/1 so waiting on one more to top it off.

Sarni, mate. Dont spend all the energy for bloody football.

Celtic and Dortmund, hope both of you burnt.

Need you in NBA tips. There will be 8 games, with some of the team will have back to back play.

Yeah football sucks. I only put them in the coupon at last minute to bump it up by 20%. Good job.

That is the spirit, mate. Football is still no. 1 for us, but when the profit is clearer on NBA, we should maximize it.

God damn Celtic! Had to cash out early and get £17 back. Will go back to in play goal scorer bets in the Milan v Juve match. Extra interesting with some of the freekick takers available.

Al Ain SCC to score in both halves @ 13/8.

Got the 1st half goal I needed, but just had their captain sent off. Still, I'd be very surprised if they didn't manage to score again considering the difference in quality between them and the opposition.

Putting profit from this on Eupen to score v Anderlecht @ 21/20.

Easy as you like. Put a small stake on Eupen to score the 4th goal and Juventus to concede at about 6.5/1 as well, a Milan goal would be very welcome indeed.

Edit - Putting a small stake on Eupen to score again at 2/1. They look up for this.

I have put all my weekly winnings on Gasol over 22.5 points, Gobert over 16 points and CJ McCollum over 24.5 points. Worst case scenario I will end up where I were before Adams got his 8th rebound against Indiana and I take a week or two break so I can get some sleep. Best case I am fecking loaded and I take the break anyways.

I just decided that if the worst case scenario I will end up at net zero for the week I will still be all right, don't really need the bookie money to live. However since I can, for the first time in ages, put good money without fearing that I will make a loss on something I have been doing very well at, I may as well do that. It's reasonably stress free.

I will still have the 2.5k I made a week ago.

What are your confidence levels?

Eupen  been a very profitable afternoon this. Next on my list is Osijek in Croatia. 1/2 to score at HT, if they start well in the 2nd half and that hits evens I'll probably take that.

fecked up the Bayern-RBL game - went for over 3.5 goals instead of Bayern -1.5 AH
