Football Betting Thread 2017/2018

Nice, you literally jumped on one of my few good bets today. So annoying, yesterday was amazing then today is total shit. It's the same every weekend, either Saturday is great and Sunday is shit or Saturday is shit and Sunday is great. I had good fortune yesterday but my luck today with a few bets has been the same old tale of missed penalties, my shortest odds selections letting me down, red cards going against me etc

2 Reds gone my way today, swings and roundabouts!

I cashed out £180 at half time. Did they draw? Dodged a bullet then? About time I got one right!

I've got an acca now looking very good. Sparta Prague need to score but they're now against ten men so they SHOULD score.

Yes it ended 0-0. Was following them because I had a mock bet I would have played if I wasn't on a break and wanted to follow it, they would have been on it. Bullet dodged too.

Do you guys cash out a losing bet?

For example if you placed $100 and see that all is not going well, do you cash out at $30?

Bloody Djurgardens costing me a big goals win today. This is when I need @BobbyManc and his knowledge of the Peru leagues!

I got screwed over by that game too, another one where there was a lot of chances and shots but neither side seemed to actually know where the goal was. Currently on Toluca to score in Mexico at evens, and researching the Peru games now. Probably won't be around in-play so I'll post what I like before the games (20:30) and leave people to make their own judgements.

I never do, probably should!
I rarely do either to be honest, but isn't that supposed to be the sign of a "good gambler"
(which isn't me anyway:)). I liken it a bit to having a hand it poker which (at first you were convinced would win) you now suspect might lose. The heart says stay in it till the end but the head says bail out now. Best to cut your losses, although I normally stay in and lose heavily:(

Main thing to remember is how the game looks in-play, in the Peru Segunda goals/btts can land in every game comfortably. These are the things I'll be looking out for:

Cesar Vallejo to score in the 1st half
Defensor La Bocana v Alfred Salinas - Over 2.5 goals/BTTS/Over 1.5 FHG
Cienciano v Union Huaral - BTTS + over 0.5 FHG

Santa Rosa v Sport Boys could also be a good one for BTTS.

I've been burnt twice recently on cashing out. Barca leaving it late against Getafe literally a couple of minutes before I cashed out still sucks. I don't cash out for a few quid anymore after I once cashed out a winning bet for £4 when a really late winner would have won me over £150.

Nice one mate I'll be keeping an eye on these.

I'm not sure that exists! Tbh i think I'm going to start taking a few cash outs. Having said that, I never get offered anything decent anyway!

I didn't cash out two accumulators about a month ago, both offers £150+, both bets lost. A few days later Chelsea score in injury time to give me £390, which I could have cashed earlier and probably should have after the two losses earlier that week.

I'm finding that recently my cash out choices are getting better.

Watched the end of the match. One of the most bizarre finishes I've ever seen. Toluca missed a pen, but scored on the follow up yet the ref disallowed it for some reason  Did he blow the whistle in the seconds between the save and the goal? Christ.

Usually when I cash out a losing bet, the feckers suddenly come good!

Just asking. Interesting.

I put $100 on a parlay and cashed out at $32 when the odds looked against me. If I waited longer I would have got a better cash out option but I also probably would have thought I could win the bet.

In the end I just made the right decision as the bets would have lost.

I'd given up on it by then. Are you kidding me? what a mess. Fingers crossed this shit luck doesn't continue into my normally lovely Peru games :nervous:

What you gone for in the Peru games? All btts or over 2.5?

Nothing at the moment. Unfortunately you have to wait to get worthwhile odds in the Peru Segunda so just have to hope there's as few early goals as possible then assess the situation from there. Also Bet365 not covering the Cienciano game which is annoying.

Edit - The odds seem especially shit this week, probably going to have to wait until HT before anything is backable.

That game doesn't start for another 5 mins.

Went for over 1.5 FHG in the Defensor La Bocana game @1.75. Comfortably in after just 16 minutes. Cheers :)

Nice :) couldn't get on it myself, goals game too early and I wanted better odds  La Bocana are insanely reliable for goals though, I should have just taken it. I have some sort of OCD with taking bets that aren't evens or above though  sometimes I'll break that code but not often.

Over 0.5 FHG at Santa Rosa at evens.
Cesar Vallejo O0.5 goals is above evens too with 15 minutes. Stats look good, but I hate betting on games I can't watch.

Edit - Feck, too late.

Edit - Double feck. I swear I'd be good at this betting shit if I wasn't so indecisive. Congrats on the win :D

Edit - 3-0. Stop they're already dead.

Edit- 4-0. I was *this* close to putting 100 on over 0.5 FHG. Feck off!

Cesar Vallejo to score in the 1st half

I went with to be winning by half time by mistake. 2-0 now so looks safe, got on at odds of 11/8, thanks mate. Shame it was my smallest Single in ages but hey!

Edit : Stuck £30 winnings from this on Vitoria next goal in the Bolivian league at Evens, pummelling the away side and scored straight away. On a roll again.

Boca Juniors (1st) vs Belgrano (15th)

Boca win 2/5. Any other SA games coming up I could do a double or treble with?

Edit: in doing the above bet I used my Boca funds and now they lead already

Cheers. Shame there was no FHG at Santa Rosa though. Hopefully BTTS can still land for my double.

4-0 in the end, wasn't expecting that but I'll take it. Bets to watch in-play for the 2nd half then: Over 1.5 goals at Santa Rosa, Alfred Salinas to score, Sport Loreto to score, Over 3.5 goals at CD Coopsol. No idea what I'll end up taking, I'll definitely get on Salinas to score if they start the 2nd half well though at around 6/5. Might get on Cienciano over 2.5 goals too, looking like they might give Huaral a spanking and they've been leaking goals lately.

Edit - small stake on Cienciano -0.5 AH in the 1st half at 3.50.

Edit 2 - Get in :D rebacked it at 5.60 as well. Makes up for no first half goal at Santa Rosa. Oh Peru Segunda, never change.

Bet365 really fecked up with the odds for the Cienciano game, lumped on them to score in the 2nd half at 1/3 and put some on over 3.5 goals at 6/4. They still have them at evens on -0.5 AH, I'm on that again.

5-0. Just printing money in this game.
