Only the first transfer window, the rest cater for that.

It would lead to even greater meltdowns. Or Leeds-style firesales after leaving the club cash strapped to get Mbappe.

It makes for interesting outcomes as some prioritise control and tinkering while others just hoard cash to give to their manager instead.
