FM 2011 Network Game

What are we going to do about Jonno?

- Add a new manager as Aston Villa, calling him Jonno . again
- Let an actual manager take control of Villa til he can come online.


Need to retire his current manager too.

So we finished the first season last night. I screenshotted the table but I'm at work.

4th: Bolton - Zalrk
9th: Newcastle - Solius
14th: Stoke - S33t
19th: West Brom: Minkaro

So Bolton get Champions League football, I flirted with it but bottled it in the run in. Stoke had some poor form but ended strongly, and Mink was relegated and now has to prepare for life in the Championship. His job also never seems to be under threat, bizarrely.

Summer window now and been a few signings already, can't remember the others but I've got Chris Smalling and Aaron Ramsey in on loan. Looking to line up like this next season.

Still looking to make additions. Benitez got me 20 goals last season but he also missed simple chances and smashed them into the corner flag.
 
I went 9 games with straight losses, then in the last 5 games I beat Boltoon 4-1, beat Everton 1-0 and can't remember the rest. Was some good going though

My players morale is starting to be something other than "Very Poor" so its looking promising.

Was looking to get in M'Vila as my centre mid is shockingly shite. Whitehead has been average, Delap was shit so I sold him, Whelan was incognito and Wilson has some good games and some average ones. However, M'Vila denied contract talks with me after I bid £13million and had it accepted. Ramsey shunned me for Newcastle.

Oh, I had a bid for Coleman accepted, but yet again he denied to talk to me about Contracts. N'Zonzi basically said, "Name me a contract" I did, and he didn't like it so ran off crying.

Currently trying to make an awesome signing, but he wants 100k a week and the most the board will allow me is 79k pw. FFFFF.

I need to bring some quality in. Got £24million to spend (I know right?!?!). Need a centre mid, maybe another striker and a versatile defender that can play RB and CB comfortably and regularly. Wes Brown turned me down, though

Also turned down 4 bids from Liverpool for Shawcross. £9 mil, £9.5 mil, £10 mil and £12 mil.

Next time we're on, can we do the summer slowly? I need to sort the shit squad out lol

I did sell Gudjohnsen to WBA for 160k, Mink was happy :D

Although so far I've managed to sell Jara, Reid, Scharner, Fortune, Mulumbu, Tchoyi, and Valero (pending).

So I'm going to be looking for a RB, CM and ST in the window.
 
I bought a young 19 year old off Mink as well. I think he can do well for me.
 
I was looking at getting Tchoyi if my other deal fell through... guess I'm too late!
 
Yeah, we stopped around the 3rd of July iirc.

Take the next month or so quite slowly so we can all get our purchases in.

I think we need to think about getting rid of Elvis, cruel as it sounds. He never posts in thread and hasn't even set up his manager yet. Doesn't seem like he has the time, will pm him and see.
 
Nah I don't think I have the time for this to be honest, let someone take my place if you like. Shame, would have liked to have played.
