Europe: ((West)Germany x4, Italy x4, England, France, Spain)
 
Neuer should have been off for his Schumacher challenge on Higuain. The fact he punches the ball is irrelevant when he comes charging out and jumps into a striker leading with the knee. If that's legal then there's going to be a lot of injuries next season.

You could say the same for Aguero on Schweinsteiger or Garay on Kramer. Could have been a couple of red cards but the ref had a good game overall.
 
When you see how tired Messi looks after a long season, Aguero not being match fit & Higuian in his usual overweight state you cant help but think Tevezs workrate & killers nature in front of goal could have won them the World Cup tonight... Even if he is a dick tonight was made for him

Fully agree. It's so funny that there was always some criticism about the missing hirachy within the German team. When you see them celebrating you know that there is and was always just one boss: Schweinsteiger.

I thought Garay's was unintentional. Aguero should have been dealt with though I don't really put it in the same category as Neuer's. You could argue that Aguero had his eyes on the ball and was using his arm to keep defenders at bay. Neuer just came charging out recklessly and kneed a striker on the fcuking jaw :lol: You just can't do that to a defenceless player, IMO.
 
Is Sabella exempt from stick tonight? He cost Argentina the tournament with more horrendous subs. Higuain had an absoloute stinker of a first half, yet it was the full of running Lavezzi who went off. He then quite absurdly takes Higuain off, who by then had improved somewhat, for the shithouse that is Rodrigo Palacio... then just before full time he brings on Gago!

Maradona did a number of pretty bad things with Argentina in 2010, but this muppet screwed them over big time. Good job he already said he's resigning, idiot would have been sacked.
 
Congratulations Germany! It was deserved not just because of their ability to win but also their insistent attitude to pressing and attacking even in the crunch moments. And that game against Brazil will live long in the memory.

It was a bit naughty. I looked at Aguero and Schweinsteiger and he makes a fist with his hand when he goes up for the ball. I'm pretty sure he knew what he was doing. Garay's challenge wasn't that clear cut at all and may well have been an accident. Neuer charging out would put the wind up most people but maybe you're right. I'll have to watch it again.
