This years fifa is more about build up play… all the previous ones was about speed. I don’t like it that you can score a goal and then concede straight from kick of. It’s a lot slower the game play but obviously they’ve still got to do all the updates yet.

last night sometime between 18:00 - 19:00. Came up with a thank you for being understanding / patient message, and gave me a pack. Can't remember what was in it other than this Lincoln player,.
I have to say I’ve been incredibly lucky with my packs so far this year. Packed Mbappe day one in a 2x 75+ player pack which I’m still in shock about. He guided me to 13 wins on WL and I got red pick Ben Yedder who is the ideal partner. Trying to wrangle the fodder/coins together to get that valverde card as he fits my team like a glove. Think I should be able to get him after tomorrows rewards.
My biggest gripe at the moment is how much some people are taking the piss in the build up.The only games I lose are where my opponent has about 65% of the ball playing an incredibly slow and boring game. I just don’t have the patience for it and going onto high press just seems to play into their hands. I’m trying to learn in those games to be more patient but it’s hard when you know any possession loss will result in 5 mins without seeing the ball again.

Also many of the biggest youtubers, who also profited from this are also calling EA out and saying this is not cool. Its so out there with so many calling them out. Yet they still havent said anything.
They really messed this one up.
There has been alot that feels shady, but this going into the 2 nd week into the game is just so wierd.
The skill gap between division 10-5 and division 4 is ridiculous.
I coasted my way to Div 4 now I’m playing top tier icons every game.

What's your team? Div 4 and above new gen is a snooze fest, old gen feels a lot better (to me anyway) probably going to stay in div 4 or maybe push for 3 but not going any higher, already bored of the 5 atb boys.
EA have a partners program don't they? Hopefully someone involved in in that calls them out, i know the fifa forums mods have supposedly passed on the problems but wouldn't hold my breath for anything.

Thought i got unlucky when i packed a 84 turns out i was kind of lucky because most got 83's.

So nothing of value really although the team has been brilliant but it's very hot and cold now when facing ronaldos, mbappes, cruyff etc every game.
Yeah can see where you'd come unstuck with that team and level of opponent. It's the Haaland and btec Haaland i'm struggling with, seems everyone has one or the other or even worse both together. I assume you've done the nations and league SBC's? If not easy 100k packs there or the 500 g/a for 2 more 100k's and a 50k should help bolster your team with a few upgrades.

Another thing i have is that all text is gone on my Ultimate team menus, so when we get those news things when you log in, its just blank.

I refuse to load up fifa points this year and I've got about 120k in the bank. I'm already at the point were I get my 8 weekly wins for div rivals then I'm done on fifa. I don't play weekend league as I don't have time.
Finally got the Valverde card over the line. Looking forward to trying him tomorrow. Also invested in the road to champions league Lemar. Atletico crashing out has dropped his value by 150k!
So I did League and Nation Hybrid + Hybrid Nation SBCs with all of my coins. Best pulls were 87 TAA, 86 Laporte and 85 Iago Aspas
First two I'm not using as I refuse to have a City or Liverpool player in my team (I red picked 99 De Bruyne a couple of years ago and had to be convinced to put him in ). So my team is no better but I've some fodder. Shame it's all untradable this year, what's that about?@Frank White telling @dannyrhinos89 his team isn't that great, but it's miles better than mine! Hopefully my luck changes soon as I'm falling behind already.
Anyone having serious performance issues on pc? I can have a perfect session winning comfortably 4/5, and on the next day I go for 6 straight losses. I can also feel players not responding to my controls and the game is stuttering even in animations. Doesn't help that its seems every day something needs an update.

Yeah it's been a nightmare. The new anticheat software both doesn't work and is incredibly taxing on CPUs.
Have you made sure the resolution in game matches what you're running natively? Mine was trying to run in 4k for some godforsaken reason.
My players will randomly just stop running and go into a permanent jockey on and off the ball where any player I'm controlling can't run. Pretty annoying.
How can you still pause when you give away a penalty, I'm sure they removed that like 2 years ago.

Really enjoying playing 2 player. It takes me back to when that’s all we had with pro evolution, either master league or playing hours and hours against your friend. If online gaming wasn’t a thing and therefore no ultimate team, it would be far and away the best football game ever made IMO.
Apart from they fecked the ground pass speed. So it's actually hard to build up because you either get a crap pass that's easy to read or a soft pass that only goes 2 yards.. Fixing it in the next patch though.

They sort of doubled the rewards but made them untradeable, personally don't mind it because I'm typically a first owner player and with the amount of content they release weekly you normally upgrade from week to week. The game is becoming a bit too much of a formality though. Friday new promo, Monday upgrades make team for the week/WL and rinse and repeat.

I thought I was bad getting a quick game in in between the school run and work starting, and then having a lunch break to fit in a couple more. Then in to the evening, and I'll have to "keep an eye" on the dinner, (even though its just spending its time in the oven) and play a couple more. My main xbox is in the kitchen which allows this

I'm considering buying Casemiro to probably replace Verratti or Matheas Nunes (a harder decision than you'd think...MN is pretty cracked on the game with Architect). Have you tried him or faced him? With the 'lengthy' trait I think he might do a good job for me, even if his pace looks too low.
I've played 32 rivals games and played about as many squad battle games too. So all in all with the WL about 90 ish, which does sound a lot but honestly atm it's just log in do my 8 games and wait for WL.

No they just get the loss but you don't get the win, managed to qualify eventually anyways, so hopefully get a boost to my team over the weekend. Already packed mount so think I'll save any picks I get for next week in the hope Ederson gets a totw against the dippers
Don't think you can do that with the red picks, they're locked to the TOTW that weekend.
And my pack luck is atrocious, decided to just have a first owner team but it's going to be tough in weekend league tomorrow. Was desperate enough and did the Thiago Silva SBC which is overpriced, like a lot. Also did the Leeds double one and to be fair Rodrygo is decent up top. Will probably come up against monster teams but hoping for 9 wins.
@Meller is correct - the red picks are locked to the week you played WL. If you save TOTW packs, however, they will be for whatever the TOTW is at that time (and a solid strategy is to save them for Black Friday when EA have sometimes had a best of TOTW in packs alongside the usual one).

Should have got to 11 wins but some of EAs finest put a stop to that. What's annoying is the rewards as my red picks were complete trash and my TOTW pack had a high of 81.
Edit: Will now use Ljungberg as RM and Son as LM so not a total disaster in regards to WL rewards but still, a decent red pick would have been nice!
