Yeh but he kinda stops chasing you at one point and he's painfully slow....

Just the kinda thing that bugs me thats all.
 
been trying to unlock the achievement of scoring over 30 yards. Sure I did it online with Scholes but it never flashed up. And in another game Almunia kept saving them even if they were right in the top corner.

Any tips on long distance shooting?

Wait untill the keeper makes a mistake and 'tap' it in from distance.

go 2 nil up, wait until the 85th minute and give away a corner, their keeper should come up for the corner, try and get the ball and hit it from the half way line

You get one league free.

So if you want to play the other leagues realistically you'll have to pay.

Also, this is probably just a test for EA/Fifa, and next year if all works well this year, they'll charge for it.

This free stuff is just to get people hooked to live season.
 
This is starting to piss me off. I got this game partly for online play, but in my last few matches I've had quite much lag, while apparently my opponents did not (not all of them, anyway). I just lost to someone I probably would have lost to anyway, but due to the lag I just couldn't react to everything. And it pisses me off because I've got a crazy good connection, and I created the sessions.

* It debuted at the top of the PlayStation 2, PS3, PSP and Xbox 360 charts.
* Of those sales, 42% were on Xbox 360, making it the 3rd fastest selling game on Microsoft's format (behind GTA IV and Halo 3), while 40% were on PS3 where it is the 2nd fastest selling game (behind GTA IV). 11% go to PS2, 3% to PSP and the rest for PC, Wii and DS.

fecken hell its not hard ot not look where your passing and do it, i play rubbish sunday league and i have done it for years.
 
Anyone else having problems with massive lag lately? This is unrelated to my previous whine, as this was ridiculously over the top lagging. And I think my opponent might have been affected too, since he didn't seem to benefiting from my patchy play. Maybe something to do with the EA servers, or something?

Inch perfect passes while not looking?

feck off, passing to their defender is wrong.

Watch when Dinho and shit do it, they actually make the defender go the wrong way. Most people do it so its obvious they aint passing that way and still dick it up.

I can do it, but nowhere near as silky smooth as Dinho does it :/ Never seen Ronaldo do it once in a proper match, seen him look at defender and pass to his right or something, but not seen him turn his head and pass at the same time :/
 
I just went from 0-2 down to 3-2 up against Liverpool (online play), it was immensely satisfying. Anderson reduced in the 70th minute, Ronaldo solo'd the equalizer in the 86th, and Tevez scored the winner in the 90th minute.

IMMENSELY satisfying.
 
The no look pass is effective when used by the top players at their best... e.g a Ronaldinho pass like that can completely feck over a defence. Zlatan did one for Adriano in the CL recently.

Indeed but unless the timing is perfect otherwise it's pointless tbh , I saw Ronaldinho do it at times uselessly but as you said it could work

Flicked it over the defenders head and volleyed it top corner as it came down :drool:
