Just purchased the game, good first impressions.

One question though...if I were to subscribe to this Adidas Live Season, can I revert to the original game stats in case they are awful?

Sorry if it's a stupid question...I'm a former PES fanboy. This is my first Fifa since 2003.

Yes, I read you can on the site. I assume the option "reset all squads" will do that for you, in "my fifa"

Also, if you go to easportsworld you can help vote for who needs their stats adjusted, etc. So with some luck you wouldnt want to revert as it should be semi-accurate.

I think most people are enjoying BAP a lot. Will get to the end of my first season as Fabio, then may go back to playing normal matches for a bit.

So what have you found boring about BAP?

Which player did you select? Everyone in this thread, having lots of fun in that mode has chosen a young player who they can improve into one of the world's best in their position. Probably because they hope that happens in real life.

Welbeck, Rafael, Possebon and Anderson to name those that people have chosen. And I've chosen Fabio myself.

If you haven't tried with a young player who can improve a lot, perhaps thats what you should try next?

I haven't started a career to be honest. Just from playing the BAP exhibition games, I havent found it too much fun. But meh, I'll give it another go.

i love it, playing a bit of manager mode for the moment though, then i will move onto BAP but the few games i have played on BAP so far have been great!

Ah I see. I figured you meant you were playing the season.

Hmm. 57 goals for Fabio in his debut season and still a squad player for United. Key player for Brazil though. Had this been real life, Real would sign Ronaldo now and Fabio would replace him as an even more potent goal scoring wide player :nervous:

Semi-pro and a lot of Rafael-type defensive positioning. I put Alves to shame in attack, but left Ferdinand to clean up after me a lot of the time :lol:

Brazil's new left back, United's right. Wish there was some way of getting onto the left, but then again I'd be competing with an 89 rated Evra after the update... Might be why I'm on the right.

Basically I wanted to see if I'd get some kind of points bonus for finishing the top scorer in the league and team. You don't unfortunately. My Fabio has 76 atm. And I'm wondering what the point of mental stats are in this mode... Positioning, tactical awareness, agressiveness etc. Since you are in control of it all, I guess theres no point sinking points into them. Though I have put in a few as I dont want to make Fabio unrecognisably good with finishing and the rest.

I can just about score 1 goal using this bloody awkward camera angle. I might just switch to the Tele cam.

When you play with the United first team its actually very easy. I mean, you may not come first all the time in the player rankings at the end (normally ended up 1st-3rd but now and again 4 or 5) but its very easy to make runs with a fast player and ask for through balls. If you score a goal your momentum bar goes near full.

At first I was just bombing trying to score as many as I could. In the reserves I had one match that I scored 5 goals. Manucho got man of the match for his 7 :p

But yeah, was just trying to see if theres a way to quickly boost your exp points. Scoring a hat trick doesnt get you man of the match - not if your defensive positioning has been awful all game, anyway :smirk:

As for the camera, I use tele with full zoom bar and and completely empty height bar as custom settings. Didnt like any of the autoset ones.

As no one came up with an answer the first time, I'll ask again. Happens with the normal ranked matches. No idea whats going on. It occured with 08 during the last couple of months too.

So basically.

Online Game --> Ranked Match --> Select Teams --> Won't let me select anything and everything except the 'back' button is unresponsive.

You have to open ports, it tells you which ones in the back of your manual.
 
Sucks when your 4 - 1 up and having fun and then guy disconnects his router meaning I get no win.
