How are you finding Chiellini? I was told I'm better off using Benatia/Skriniar/Manolas over Chiellini/Koulibaly, but I really wanna play with them two.
Skriniar is beastly with his pace, and if I'm not wrong, would give Nainggolan more chem in your team.

Nope he'd have 2 negative links so would need more than 1 green link to balance it out

Chiellini is a boss, I find him better than Ramos even though Ramos has better stats.
Chiellini and Puyol are one of the best CB pairings I have ever had.
I would like to try Skriniar but Im transfer banned so I have to work with what I got
Yeah, rare silver. I missed out on one last week but didn't remove him from my transfer targets so I kept going back to it and "compared price" every now and then til I got him today.
My new team:
I love the Matthäus/Desailly swap and the Florenzi/Goretzka swap. Florenzi is the best midfielder I’ve tried in FIFA 19 and he’d be so much more expensive if he was a CM. Same goes for Matthäus, and obviously Desailly too if he was a CB. Very good value for money that team imo.
Not sure where to put the attackers though. Some of you may think it’s odd that I’ve got Zlatan on the left and Mbappe on the right, but it’s to facilitate the el tornado-crosses. And I’ve always found the LF/RF to be the easiest targets to aim crosses at in that formation. I might switch to Mbappe on the left, Sane on the right and Zlatan in the middle though.

TOTGS Koulibaly is a monster. Best CB I have used
Game absolutely robbed me so many times, I was 3-0 up in 4 games and it made it so my players couldn't pass to each other, I couldn't control the player I wanted when defending or lag. feck this game, was one win off gold 2 on my first weekend league outting.
The scripting has gotten worse every year. I really dislike it sometimes. The game penalizes you for being a goal or two ahead.
Yeah it's horrendous, one half you have all the chances, the other they'll have it all. It should be a level playing field and the better player wins
Has anybody played the 87 Felipe Anderson on RW? I've got Martial IF on the left and FA looks quality, but he's got 5 chem there. Is it a deal breaker? FS Sancho is the endgame for me. There's a real lack of good RW in the Prem as i don't like using City or Liverool players.
Have got IF Bernardo Silva on the RW spot for now though Bought him as I'd heard he's getting a stats boost. He'll get sold if he doesn't improve though, bit too slow atm. Don't like Willian either, he's a bit here nor there for me when i play him.

Don't like Willian either, he's a bit here nor there for me when i play him.I came up against a pro level player last night (GeoffreyMeghoe) and he beat me 9 1 :S but 5 or 6 of his goals were the el tornado crosses, he was using the 4222 and had Ibra and Ronaldo as his wide cams. I guess that was so they would be at the back post on crosses?
So now I want to learn this, what is the best way to score from them? Is there a meta angle to cross from? What is it that makes them so effective?
You need wingers with 5 star skill and then is it not just the direction the player is running in with the right stick and then flick up and he’ll start The tornado then press LB or whatever it is on the play station then however much power you want to put in the cross for distance.
Got the game 3 days ago and finally managed to get my first win online on Division Rivals, 15 losses in a row or something like that
I'm liking the game (at least when I'm not playing against Mané, Auba, Lacazette and so on...) but what has surprised me more is how tuning the roles and having proper players for it turns around the gameplay, I was running Alcacer as a lone 9 with 2 wingers and couldn't score to save my life. Since I swapped to a front two with a target man and Alcacer as a false 9 attacking is a breeze, and I've only played 2 games with Stuani on the combo but he's way, way better than my older target man.
Can't wait to tinker around with other combos, if only I could have a front two of Crespo/Sheva

I think what makes them so effective is the angle and trajectory of the cross that you get from volley-crossing the ball while it’s in mid air. My friend claims the defenders for some reason can’t defend properly against those types of crosses, but not sure if I believe that.
It’s very easy to do. Get the ball out wide to a five star skiller, do the skill move (a berba spin while holding L1/LB and just cross it (might hold L1/LB to get a high cross, I think that makes it even more effective)
The problem with crossing to strikers is that from my experience they tend to move too close to the goalkeeper. Also, wingers/wide forwards are often up against sidebacks which is advantageous obviously. In FIFA 18 I had CR7 as a LF in a 4321 and I scored an unbelievable amount of goals crossing to the far post where he would dominate every sideback he came up against.
I wouldn’t build a team just around this style though. You could try a 4222 with good headers at the CAM positions, but it’s not that meta that you can rely solely on it in every game. It’s a nice asset to have in your repertoire though, and I’ve now adjusted my front line to suit it so let’s hope it works.
Hmm the talk in here about a 41212 has got me thinking about getting another icon and dropping both wingers.

After spending the entirety of FUT19 division rivals in division 5 I have FINALLY been promoted to division 4.

Ah right, i tried it on futbin by building a squad and it was coming out at 5 chem. That's with orange link to Rashford and Doucoure, not sure if that effects things? He's a real handful when I've played against him so he'd tide me over until i can afford Sancho.
Don't do it. Just play football and enjoy what you're doing, exploiting issues with the game over and over just seems so hollow imo. I celebrate for fun when i get the winning goal against these players.
How can you tell who are pro players? I think I played a couple last night but don't know who's who on the pro gamer scene.
Well done on your first win! I'd recommend doing the advanced SBCs if you haven't already? You usually get a few decent pulls from them. Same. He's scoring loads for me. When i bought him I checked his bio and he's played 170 games and scored 140 goals. I've played 28 and scored 20 with him.
I'm struggling finding a 3rd sub for my side. Usually just go totally attacking and bring on a new front 3. Already got FB Tevez and Ibra, but the 3rd player is for some reason proving a nightmare to decide on.
Aubameyang was perfect before I got Ibra, I'd play him at striker and he'd just run past people for fun. Playing him at RW isn't as good though as his crossing is terrible.

How come you don't start FB Ibra? Just throwing this out there but Prime Henrik Larson is one of the hardest players I've had to face. Surprisingly nobody uses him. But a front three of FB Ibra, Crespo and Larsson would have some chem between them and is pretty deadly imo.
Not played against Henry so can't comment there. But Owen, Tevez and Mbappe I've found are good but not really difficult to defend against. Shevchenko was really good when I've played him though.
I think Rashford is better than Auba. FB Calvert Lewin looks good but not sure what his crossing is like. He's going for less than 100k as of last night on PS4.
Never considered Larsson to be honest, expected him to be too expensive. Think I'd have to change to a 41212 at the start to get them all on max chem but it's definitely do able. I'd then have Mbappe, Tevez and Felipe Anderson or whoever I replace him with for the bench
EDIT: Just taken a look and Larsson is too expensive. Guessing his price has shot up due to Ibra

Packed this guy from the Spanish leagues sbc (Celta Vigo) yesterday
Just stopped at Gold 3 again, I had around 10 games to spare again. I had a very strong looking team with Bale, Modric etc etc but I have went full Serie A and it is 100% the best team I have used by a mile. No weak players. Morale of the story if you don't need a fancy IF or someone who costs 150k if someone at 2k does the same job.
I had Suso, who cost 120k.. he was ok at best. Swapped him for 5k Cuadrado, miles better
I put that Calabria card in RB for 100k. After 2 games I swapped him out for normal Cancelo. Felt miles better.
Justin Kluivert is a poor mans Messi. I love this card (Future Stars)

Is Henry much cheaper or do you already have him? If you haven't done already, take a look at Shevchenko. His middle and baby cards look better than Larsson's. Also rocking a similar Serie A team with Nainggolan and FUTmas Matuidi playing around 500 games together, I took the plunge and bought FS Bentancur as an upgrade on Radja and have not been disappointed, even though I loved Radja. Right wing is definitely the weakest point in Serie A as iam still using 84 Cuadrado too, by far better than Suso!
Only way to improve on that too is simply by upgrading your Cancelo and Manolas to the their respective informs but only if you have the excess cash.

How many coins do you have? I'm at a similar stage to you. Completely happy with my team so now I'm just working through and saving to do big upgrades in each position, but only using players I like.

My plan is to get De Gea back, get the 84 IF Bailly, complete Baines SBC today, replace Bernardo Silva with F. Anderson (short term) then Sancho (long term). If I get really lucky in packs then I'd get the 90 Pogba at some stage and 86 Rashford. If I get even luckier in packs then I'd get Best for RW.

Oh I completely forgot about Bentancur. I only have 180k sitting, should have around 250k or so after rewards (maybe more if I'm lucky). I wouldn't replace Radja though, my normal Matuidi would have to go but hes quality for me so would be a sad day
