I actually have a question regarding pens. In FUT I’ve not given a penalty away so I’ve never had to face one but I’ve had to take 3 recently and only scored 1 as the other 2 were saved. Can the oppo see where you are aiming? Or is it simply guess work and I’ve just been unlucky and someone has guessed correctly twice?
I would think the natural finish for people to do would be go back across yourself so if you’re right footed you’ll likely go for your top left and left footed you’ll go for your top right. Maybe that’s just me but I fell more comfortable going those ways when I’m taking other might be different.
Yeah watch your strikers head movement, he looks where you are aiming. Your options are to aim down the middle and then change last second or pick a corner and change.
I find I score more without changing then I do when I do change against better players because they expect the switch. Practice switching direction last second with the target arrow on to get the hang of it. The later you leave it to change the better the chance the other guy won't notice head movement. Leave it to late and you'll mess the peno up though. Its worth 2 to 3 Fut Champs games every week
I use the same method every time. If I'm first, I'll aim hard right or left fast and bang it down the middle slightly to a side. Then when facing opposition penalty I move to the right during run up and last split second move feet to the left and dive left.
For my next penalty I always go where they opposition just went before me and keep going with that for a couple of penos. Assuming they will notice I will then do whatever the feck I feel is right

Transfer market is still weird. Someone put up IF Hernandez for 14k so 10 minutes to go thought I’d keep an eye on it. No movement so put in a 15k bid. They seem to be going for around 140k. Some dude gazumps my offer and puts down 122k. No one else has bid on it but you would think you’d put in a low offer and see how low you can get it for.

After some selling I’ve managed to raise the funds for Farland Mendy. When I first checked there were loads and they were going for about 200k. Now that I have the funds there are none on the market and when they do pop up they are 250k insta buy jobs. Tempted to embrace the grind and just try and go for Aouar who seems to be going at about 900k.
I’ve been trying now for around about 2hrs and I can not buy this damn card. It can be on for 9 seconds and I’m too late.
11-2 for me in the weekend league so far. Should’ve been 13-0. I have to say, this is honestly the worst FIFA I’ve ever experienced and I’ve been playing since FIFA 2002. The amount of bullshit that has happened in these 13 games is fecking infinite. Sometimes my opponent can pass the ball in between the feet of my players, dodge every tackle, get the most ridiculous rebounds, score because of the most incredible goalkeeper bloopers and so on and so on. Could’ve made a 10 minute EAids montage from these 13 games. It feels like playing the lottery or something. Some of these games disregard the difference in skill level completely.
I’ll post one clip, the most recent one. I’m in the lead 1-0 and EA wants my opponent to score so badly that they apparently decide to make a temporary tweak to the physics of the Frostbite engine to allow for a violation of Newton’s law of motion. There’s a cross on the far post towards Pele, and my IF Robertson suddenly experiences an amazing speedboost that even the speed of light would’ve been impressed of, just to get out of the way from Pele so he can score the equalizer. fecking brilliant game.

I feel ya, I swear Prime Rio does this for me at least 5 times per weekend league. He also concedes about 5 ai controlled pens too. Haven't start my WL this week, think I'll play to 11 or 14 and be done.
Best fun I've had on UT was playing 2 player with my housemate. When you get used to it it can be very effective. Anyway we used to smoke a joint after every game. We'd start off amazing a 5 games in it would all fall apart. Looking back it's hilarious how we blamed the game instead of us becoming stupidity stoned.
Played few more last night, won 6 and lost 1. More like it. My team is worth 150k tops, madness the teams im facing every game. Easily worth millions. Every team has few good prime icons plus ramos, varane, curtois at the back.

Only played 3 WL games, got cheesed in my 3rd so turned the game off. 2-1 so far. Might try and play to 11 wins tonight to auto qualify. Have a feeling if I don't I won't see another wl this year, have zero interest in grinding rivals.

I'm almost certain the servers bid on these players to stop them going too cheap. I do it quite a but with players that don't sell, just whack them on cheap and the they sell roughly market value. You'll never get a player at that price you mentioned when they're worth considerably more.
Finding it harder to do skills this year (I don’t have the game but occasionally play my mates round their house) - how do you pull off the various body feints.. I used to use the right stick in like a semi circle and shift different directions but it starts doing reverse step over and stuff. Don’t have the game so can’t practice it .. any tips?
And shooting has gone weird too.. how do I drill it bottom corner along the floor?
