Would agree with this, I’ve started playing a bit more now and I came across a guy yesterday who had 5 icons in his starting 11 playing Pele and Cruyf in midfield with Kante then had Neymar Luis Ronaldo and Messi. Then it was 1-1 and he was able to go to his bench bring on Ronaldo, George Best and Henry. He ended up winning 2-1 but it was more just his firepower over skill level. At a point it does kind of suck however when you do beat this super teams you do feel like a Fifa’ing god who should have his own YouTube channel only to get pumped 2 games later by some guy just spamming long balls to Dzeko.

Just give it a go mate. You only need to reach silver 1 (11 wins) to auto qualify for the following weekend. You’ll get £20k coins from that as well and some packs and you’ll get division rivals points on top of that just for playing your weekend league games.
Stuck career mode on after not playing the game at all for ages. Was up to the quarters in the CL. Getting to the final and facing Spurs instead of Barca somewhat takes the edge off it.
Doing something similar but dragging my way up from the German 3rd division with a squad where the average age must be about 18. Some of them can’t even cross the ball on the run and instead do a weird thing where they leave it behind then end up putting one in an Ashley Young like fashion but on their wrong foot. Got Chong, Gomes, Adu and that other Chelsea kid Bayern are after for about 7 mil combined.
I used a financial takeover so I had 40 mil to spend on the most talented kids in the game or kids with the highest potential that I could afford and get. At this point Vinicius Jr seems like a pipe dream though.
Got the TOTW Rashford striker card for FUT and so far he’s been incredible and scored 7 in 3 and one of them was a peach of an overhead kick on his left.
As @Carlsen19 said if you reach 11 wins you’ll get great rewards, even two untradable informs. If your team is shite and you’re not an experienced player it could get really tough though. I’d probably stick to division rivals in the beginning until you get a decent team.

If you're using a Serie A team you could have Miranda and Allan in your team and get Alex Telles at LB on full chem. Allan is a must with any Serie A starter team at 1.3k, he's plays much better than his stats suggest.
My friend told me as much regarding Allan, and Miranda I figured out would be a good buy myself. Telles doesn't fit for me right now, I think - He'd have a weak link with SMS.

I can't say I've ever noticed a difference when a player is a couple of points off 10 to be honest but I can get a bit OCD about it. You could start with something like this in the link below and then change once the game starts. It can be a bit of a hassle to do that every game but it gets everyone on 10 chem (with loyalty bonus/manager league etc)

Did you try to sell/buy coins or transfer coins between accounts? They notice when large amounts of coins are spent on players that normally don't go for big amounts. Like spamming the max buy now price on random players for no reason. If it's wrong then send a complaint

Colour doesn’t mean anything. What matters is the amount of rare gold players. You should just open everything now as all the TOTY players are currently in packs.

In the two years playing the best pack I've had has been Aubameyang who I sold for over 300k. Rest of that has been pure shite. Honestly can't believe these peoples luck that roll out a team with 7 icons, Messi, Neymar etc as i faced the other day. Luckily he was rubbish.

I think I’ve got Nacho CB Real Madrid as the star player from the last 3 packs I’ve opened. You would think that’s less likely than pulling a POTY card. I have had luck before as Kante is still my pride and joy and recently I pulled a Filipe Luis Road to the final card.
Currently having the problem that no one in my team can make it beyond 70 minutes without blowing all their energy and some coming up with injuries. The 4-2-4 and high aggressive pressing might have to go as I’ve lost the last 3 simply due to not being able to run or guys just not shooting.

Anyone got any toty players? Any theory on what KDB will cost in a few weeks time?
It’s not luck mate it’s spending thousands of pounds or the risk of coin cheating. I spent over £1000 in the end on 18 and I didn’t have a team full of icons. I’ve spent probably £500 on 19 so far and I have a very good team but nothing like what you mentioned.

Anybody else got Keane and how are you using him to get the most out of him? So far he seems really good at passing and tackling but seems slightly slow and un-agile. Though i think my team is suffering the "bad form" as i was away 4 days and couldn't play. I find that if you don't play for a day it messes with your team. Play loads and they play like gods.
Does anyone have this on the switch. Been playing that way more than my Ps4 these days. was wondering how was the gameplay on the switch platform
I played it on switch over Xmas as my nephew got it so we had a few games on Boxing Day. Graphically not as good, gameplay feels a bit different (than Ps4) but still very good. It certainly does feel like the inferior version though.
Had Keane a few weeks back, sold him after 10 games. He’s decent all round but not really great at anything. Or he was to me anyway. Not as good on the ball as pogba, not as good off the ball as Kante, I’d say he’s no better than Fabinho so not worth 800k (when I got him). But that’s just my impression. Also may I add that form from a few days off is you, not the game in my opinion. Sometimes you need a break and to lower your expectations of how good you think you are, and you play better. Sometimes repeated playing gets you in a rut of repeated patterns. Again just my opinion although patterns of fifa bullshit does exist.
I'm determined to make it work as i did the SBC to get him and he's untreadeable, but i just need to figure out how to properly use him. Might have a look at the chemistry cards and see what's best.
I sold Pogba before his price dropped to finish the Keane SBCs, so I'll buy him back soon. Then it'll be the 84 Rashford card as i play his LW 82 card as a striker already.

Oh right. You never mentioned the untradeable part. Ok then, make him captain, give him the 16 shirt play him as a CDM and remember you love united and you will never feel disappointed. Having used him I wouldn’t have done the SBC but he’s still a good player and a sweet looking icon but not worth the coin. But it’s done now, don’t dwell, still a beast after all.
Yeah but now you cant access the transfer market again and I'm not sure if it gets reset for new games or if it's a perma ban so you might get screwed for that too.
For whatever reason, you arent allowed to transfer coins between accounts so I doubt they'll change anything for you if you do complain about it!
Hardly worth it if you have been banned. Cruel if it’s transferring it between two legally paid accounts but you have ran the risk and been punished.
I created a case to contest the ban, I think it just applies to FIFA 19 but you are right it sucks I cannot access the transfer market again but on the bright side I cant spend any more money on FIFA

He who dares wins (or gets unlucky and gets banned) I guess it’s a case of be smart. Play to EA rules and waste a fortune on shit packs. Or be smarter and leave this soul destroying game forever. I hear you man, Ive been playing since FIFA '96 and this is the first time Ive had a ban. My team is good enough and I have enough consumables to probably tide me over till FIFA 20 comes out so it isnt the end of the world but it feels like EA went a bit over the top with the perma ban.
Ah well I get to spend more time playing Red Dead 2 and the division 2 comes out in March as well.
