Was 12-2 this morning and went out during the day. Decided to play a few games when I got back and now I'm 13-4, losing the last two games in a row. One in the 90th minute where my CB passed it to his striker and then lost on penalties against someone who defended all game with 11 men in his own half. Frustrating because I felt I was the better player in both games but the passing has felt off in all 3 games this evening.

I had his inform last year and just couldn't drop him he was too good.
On a personal note, I've skipped this weekend league. Got so much on that I can't warrant fitting 30 games into 1 day again. Saving my packs now until TOTY drops. Only really want Ramos, Modric or Kante (realistically) so hoping I can pull one of them.
I haven't played a lot this year but fecking hell, everyone has superstar teams... Think I have had the same team since the beginning and never seem to make coins as I just play rivals (No time for weekend league anymore).
I play about 5-10 rivals games a week at best. Is there any enjoyable OP teams for around the 50-70k mark because I'm guessing that's all my current crop are worth.

Go full PL. Get Son, he’s a top player. That leaves you with 30-50k. I’d recommend players like Valencia, Robertson, Moussa Dembele, Morata, Bailly, Fred, Herrera, Kepa.
Morata? He's terrible be better off with Gabriel Jesus if you've not got the coins for one of the top strikers

I put my team at the bottom of my post lads haha! I have prem team with 3 la liga players in there. I do well with my team and beat super teams.. I'm just bored and wouldn't mind a wee change. I have Rashford as LM so get 7 or 8 chem and play a 4231

Yeah Macern is suggesting you go full PL side and get rid of the hybrid aspect. To be honest it would likely make sense to upgrade that side on a budget
I had Bailly, Shaw and someone else but I prefer them 3 by a mile. Big fan of Kondogbia. He was telling me to go full BPL and buy Dembele, Son etc which I already have

Ah yeah that makes no sense. Fred seems to be highly rated by most, although I personally can't use him. Walker over Bellerin is a massive upgrade by the way
Just get to rank 3 in rivals every week (takes like 3200 points to be safe) and pick the coins every time. 32000 coins a week, I've done that since the start with the occasional but rare rank 1 or 2 if I played more. That's like 500k since the start of the game at least of pure rivals rewards. So easy to make coins this year and thats pretty much all I've been doing, didnt put any money in and I can afford a super team (use a dream United side with scholes/giggs/Keane though, way more fun).
Try to go for a Serie A team though if you want something cheap. Always good for cheap OP teams.

Yeah Rio would be a dream but 800k for a centerback just seems excessive, especially when I can just save up a tiny bit more and get Best to complete the icon midfield. Haven't gotten any decent pulls in ages to give me a coin boost so hoping I get something lucky soon and get hope so I can get RVN/Best/Rio.
Do you do weekend league/rivals pretty often? Just pick the coin options every time and your coin count goes way up. Also pretty soon I'm sure giggs/keane/scholes will all be like 400k each, which shouldn't be tooooo hard at this stage!
Yeah I never pick the coins, don't see the fun in it. Always take the packs and hope for a mega pull. Still waiting on that day I get R9 in a pack

Yeah that bored me though, packed CAM IF Hazard last season and sold him for 1.6m and bought my full team about 2 months in. Was bored out of my mind within a month.
I find Campbell better than Rio tbh, speed is not quite as important and Campbell is a bit bulkier in game for getting blocks off and he's a shit load stronger. Rio is ten times the player on the ball though.
Sol's also get lower attacking WR than Rio so he's never out of position (except for that week where the game constantly put him outside my box when I was defending corners, think it was down to position swapping bug).

Rio - 95 pace, 98 def, 86 physical (better stam but thats offset by Campbell having low attacking WR.)
Sol also has every trait and speciality Rio has but has an added bonus of aerial threat, so he's more dangerous off corners.

To be fair in my opinion and I promise I am not hating but I think all the Fifa youtubers are absolute trash. They have insane teams because they dump thousands of dollars into the game and they win with anything that is overpowered in the game. I can not stand watching their videos because 90% of the goals are exactly the same. If they had a wank team like mine or most of the community I have no doubt they would have bad records.
The only great FIFA player that Is a YouTuber is by far air japes granted he does not post a lot but he is an above average FIFA player.
Some of the best pro players have decent youtube channels like Tass, Gorilla and especially Mike LaBelle (he’s not one of the best, but still a pro player)
Yup I'm not buying a single pack but I find it strange how one person can pack 2.5m worth of coins minimum in a single video despite spending FP, Starting to believe EA do have a favored odds list. Watched a few more vids and Nepenthez packed an Icon.
Nepenthez is playing on a no fifa points account and he's packed prime Gullit, prime Trezeguet and another 10m worth of players.
Yeah I've watched a few of those guys play and while they are better than average (better than me) they don't look amazing at all. I mean basically their teams get them those extra 5 wins to get the high placings. I'm sure they are not terrible but they're also not great. I have a feeling the difference between gold 1 and elite 1 is pure hard cash, top pro's aside, those guys could hammer most people with a poor team.

Hes just a normal person the rest are a pack of spoilt, cocky brats. I remember watching him move his players around defensively on fifa 16 or 17 and since then I have used the same style of defending. I used to spam my CDM and second press when necessary but his tutorials showed me a good way to put good pressure on with your controlling player
I've stuck him behind Aguero and he's scored 7 in 8 so far. I thought he was shite at first but it was just because I was playing so shite I think
I started UT last week for the first time since like, Fifa 14. Is it worth getting the 2k points needed to qualify for the Rivals/Champions thingy with my newly found budget team, or am I just going to get spanked repeatedly anyway?
