I earn minimum wage, no girlfriend, could do with losing a few pounds, but at least I have a cracking pro clubs record.

So I highly suggest everyone to try IF Meuiner. By far the best rb I have used defensively he his brilliant thanks to his height, strength, and good pace for his height BUT where he shines is offensively, this dude has 80 stats for his shooting and 84 attack positioning. He has 9 goals and 5 assists for me....as a rb..and all the goals were mostly important ones as well. Best rb in the game.

Dont bother paying the extra. If your son is planning to play ultimate team you are better off loading 20 quids worth of points on for packs to get him started. Otherwise you are paying for 2 packs a week, which arent backdated so all the ones you missed you wont get at all.

And if he isnt interested in ultimate team the extra 20 quid gives nothing for the other parts of the game

Which ones are they? Apparently they will turn in to Road to the Final Europa League players and will receive upgrades if they move onto next round in Europa League.

Might be worth holding on to as you'd expect Inter and Napoli hopefully to progress some rounds in the EL. The only upgrade they will miss out is the initial qualifying out of CL upgrade, so will probably have to wait a couple of months to receive their first upgrades (assuming they go get through the next round).

Yeah I grabbed him as my FUT swap player for the month. Wasn’t overly impressed. He has nice long shots and is quite quick to cover ground but poor in the air and not as solid defensively as Fabinho/Matic. He’s probably worth the 6 FUT swap items, just about and no more.

I used the hide function, thinking that meant it was hidden for everyone. Shared the link with my old schoolfriends who are the ones who play clubs with me, now they've all seen my posts about my drug addiction and struggles. Damn this earth :wenger:

Been there mate, hope you are doing better!

On FIFA, I feel so much better in general since I went back to the Witcher 3. Never has a game caused so much frustration in me. I go from losing to players I should beat ti then beating players clearly much better than I am. I'd still buy it next year with the promise they would fix their career mode but that just won't happen. I'd be happy with a good career mode and then the odd stable online game against mates or a random player now and again. It's really just become a 'play when your friends are over' kind of game right now. Rocket League is still so much more fun because even though I'm still pretty shit at least the servers work most of the time.

Just got him myself, stuck guardian chemstyle on him to boost his defending more and dribbling (mainly for his 67 composure which seems terrible). Only played one match with him so too early to judge him but he didn't really stand out. He looks a well-rounded player stats wise so he'll be replacing Fernandinho for the time being.
 
Has anyone used Modric this year? He's going for 55k on PS4 which seems a bargain. I have RTTF Nacho and Carvajal in my PL hybrid team so I could use him. I'm a long way off affording De Bruyne/Pogba so 55k seems cheap for a 91 rated player.

He has been shite for me. I had him at cm instead of Hamsik with a catalyst to boost pace and passing, couldnt win an argument. Went back to Hamsik. He'll sit in my club as a special card to use in an sbc or possibly just rot

I can confirm Modric is very good and has great defensive work rate, great stats for top-rated cards.

He’s ok. Depends on what type of midfielder you need. For me he’s just a bit too unspecialized. Not good defensively, not very good in attack. As a CM or CDM I’d much rather have someone like Swap Lerma who is fantastic at defending, and for the CAM position I’d rather have someone who’s great at shooting.
 
Put a shadow on CL Koulibaly, just to see what difference there would be between that and anchor, holy shit he is the best defender I have used now. Literally stops everyone, Auba, Mbappe, Lucas they just dont get past. Manolas with anchor next to him as well and they just dominate. My skill rating is up to 1987 which is the highest its ever been and I an unbeaten in about 10 games now.

Also replaced Verdi with SIF Suso and put catalyst on him, so many assists with an early low cross to Perisic, have been scoring 1 a game like that which then shits people up that play narrow because its a genuine threat from wide
 
Closing in on 2100 skill rating, my observations so far is that if people cant get a finesse away they cant score as they dont have a plan b, and similarly only prepare to defend against finesse shots so playing any other way creates massive gaps to exploit which helps me as i massively overload the wings
 
Have they changed the stadium that Hannover 96 plays in?

I don’t think they had their stadium in the game when it came out, but the game I’m playing right now in my career mode is in a stadium I’ve never seen in game before.

Liked Modric more the last 2 years tbh. Felt a bit meh this year to me. Not bad, just nothing special.

Anyone get any decent rewards this week? I got Donnaruma and Dembele as player picks, and then chose tradeable rewards for div rivals as I dont particularly need the coins at the moment with my team playing as well as it is and no realistic upgrades available right now, and figured the chance of packing someone decent was worth a gamble.

Saving the packs for when i am at home so i can see the walkout properly...
 
Managed to get Cancelo in my WL picks :D

My defence is now 75% made up of these... Alex Sandro, Manolas and now Cancelo:drool: rest have been awful.
 
My skill rating has dropped to the lowest it's ever been this morning, something like 1220. Normally sit around 1500... Not sure what's happened but I just can't buy a win at the moment.
 
I'm a big believer in getting better packs the less you play, as a way to hook you in. Have been playing less and less, making far more coins than I was at the beginning.
 
Cheers for the feedback, ended up not going for Modric. I decided to take the untradable packs instead of the coins for rivals rewards. Got shit all except David Silva who I used to do the Laporte SBC. Think I'll sell RTTF Nacho and Florenzi when they get their upgrades and put it towards forward players.
 
Is there any point playing this if they’re just going to keep patching it every fortnight? It’s just a disaster, at this point.

Each patch seems to also make the servers worse! Hand this franchise over to someone else, EA are a fecking disgrace. All the potential and technology in the world at their fingertips and they still make a mess of things.

Immaculate stats, especially with a Deadeye chemistry style. SBC requirements are quite reasonable, I feel. Did you unlock him?

I’m looking at doing Sol Campbell and Lucas Torreira. I can do both with what I have in the club, predominantly with untradeables. Campbell looks like such a monster, too.
 
@No Love yeah, I just followed the first video I saw on youtube though so probably could have done it so much cheaper. Ending up costing me around £75k :nervous:
 
They've released prime Ballack and Campbell SBCs. I have 89 Ballack and he's dropped over 200k in price. Lovely :lol:
