Dropped this game like a sack of sh*t.. thought it was enjoyable at the start but think its up there with one of the worst editions of Fifa
Same. I Wish someone would come along an knock EA off their perch and actually make a real football game for both single player and online peeps, not a pay to win pile of garbage that exploits kids. It’ll never happen though with their licenses.
What do people think about the elo ratings system in weekend league?
I'm all for it in division rivals personally, I enjoy the fact that I'm constantly playing people around the same level and trying to improve my own skill level. Compared to divisions which I never played last year I think it's a much better system.
However, in weekend league, wouldn't it be much more fun to just come up against 30 random opponents? Sure at times you'd get 20 people way above your level, but other weeks you'd get 20 people way below your level. As things are at the moment, pretty much every single person I know that plays the game ends up in the same tier week after week. Surely that will become boring pretty quickly

Serie A users.. I will have around 200k to spend by end of week.. who is a player that you would highly recommend? ... iam torn between spending 100k on Radja or saving for 250kish for Dybala.
Radja as a ball winning midfielder is great. He's made me a lot more secure defensively and is decent going forward.
Dybala is great though. Scores more goals than anyone in my team playing CAM
Is it any different to last year? Every week last year (assuming I played all 40) I’d finish on around 25 wins.
If you played 30 random opponents you’d have all the pro players finishing 30-0 easily. The top 100 would be filled with 30-0.
Yeah I know it's no different to last year, but I at least felt like I had a chance at finishing higher or lower and occasionally did. This year I literally finish on the exact same wins with 2 games spare every single week. And the same goes for everyone that plays that I know.

Weakest area is probably the right side but other than iF Cancelo there no easy upgrade there.
So may either get Radha in to play alongside Matuidi or Dybala instead of Cuardado.
Set up in a 4222 and switch to your 4231 in game to keep Dybala on full chem
Can't ever hold on to a big pile of coins for too long. Had 1.75m and saw the 90 version of George Best going for 50k less then normal and got him (1.3 mil). Prices are already on the way down but for icons looking at the top tier players last year, they only really started going down after the new year and went up between now until then. Have 450k left, might wait until the cheap icons go back down to 400k each so I can get one of Scholes or Keane again, but if not I might just do the MLS sbc for Rooney.
EA sure do know how to make a game that makes you feel like crap. All weekend I have battled with terrible input lag and slow sluggish games, in spite of that I was one win away from gold rank (my target rank) and I was winning the game 2 0 so had gold rank in the bag and the bloody servers went down and I got kicked. I have 2 games now to get the win but I just no it wont happen. lets see if the servers even come back on in time anyway.

I’ve got 918k and POTM Lucas and CL Rabiot as untradeables, any team ideas? Doesn’t have to include those two.
I’ve come up with these two alternatives, but I’m open for other suggestions
Doesn’t have to be 4231 narrow. I’m probably going to switch up formations quite often in game so 4231 is a decent formation to start off games with.
As for Fährmann, Vogt and Süle, it doesn’t have to include them, but I think they’re incredibly good and an affortable defense better than them would have to include Varane/Courtois or someone similar.
I’ve come up with these two alternatives, but I’m open for other suggestions

I'd say Dybala would be best money as the Radja card was priced high for an 85 rated and is coming down quite a lot lately. The Dybala card will hold a bit longer.
If you want a cheap CM card, the IF Vechio for Inter looked nice, and cheap

I saw some people mention how because ea messed WL up so much this time that they should lower the amount of wins needed to reach each tier etc. Hopefully there is a chance they might do something like that.
Yeah that would be nice. I've got 7 games spare and I'm on 12 wins so taking gold 3 to 12 would be perefct
CL Rabiot is actually very good. Have had him since that first UCL sbc and he's just very well rounded, gets around well and a big body too. Move Firmino to CDM instead of Fabinho, he's a defensive monster with mint long range shots
It is completely ridiculous there are no better EPL fullbacks with 4/5 skills except Young despite being right-footed playing as LB. My tactical require 4/5 skills to make a cut-back and cut in the box from wingback in 4-1-2-1-2 as it becomes 3-2-5 when attacking.
Any active pro clubs on here that I could join? Haven't bothered with it since I used to play with the team on here about 2 years back. It still highlights the massive flaws in this game but I played a few games yesterday and forgot how addictive it is
Is it just me or has the gameplay been sped up? I played a game of squad battles last night and it seemed so quick. If it has, and I’m not just imagining it, is there a way of slowing it down?
@kidbob mentioned this the other day and when I checked mine it was it’s normal self, however yesterday there was a game I played and it felt so much faster and to be honest I preferred that just because I’m used to playing it at a tempo.
I also had a weird game where I felt like the guys team was so much faster than me, some guy ran away from my Trippier who isn’t that slow and certainly not by this margin but from being level he somehow managed to get 10-15 yards ahead of me in a flat out sprint except he had the ball. When they were closing me down as well it felt like they were covering so much ground and I was just stuck in the mud.

Yeah I’m tempted to play him in midfield. He should do really well with a shadow chem style.

The first is pre match so the chemistry stays high, the second is in game. He'll use position changes to make Aguero a DM.
As for Firmino at DM in the actual game, he's excellent there. Due to Liverpool's style of play and Firmino constantly pressing from the front, he has really good defensive stats, combined with speed, passing and excellent long range strikes.
The last 5 goals I've conceded have been headers from corners. How frustrating. Any tips?
Did the MLS league sbc, ended up pretty much breaking even after picking up an in form, mertens, vidal, iniesta and a few 84's. Probably will make a profit from selling all the other cheap players I got, as now I have a ton in my club.

If you're great at FIFA use it in an online draft as the prizes are better. If you're div 5 or lower like me your probably better off setting the AI to ameteur and doing the offline version. It's a bit of a grind but the rewards are ok
I'm the same to be honest mate. I rarely make hybrid teams and when I do it's something simple like 3 Juve/Bayern players together so they are all green
So despite taking untradable rewards every week to keep the game interesting I've ended up with a team that is pretty much finished already.
