Tromsø IL, they’re on fifa actually. Yeah I’d definitely be given some gear etc, I’ve seen som pictures of their FIFA players wearing their jersey and a hat :cool:, perhaps I’d be given free tickets too. And obviously access to participate in the norwegian leage and tournaments etc. It’d be unreal. The guy said he’s going to call me within the next few days, can’t wait!

Question for those who cross, whether its regular or el tornado etc to the back post

Do you all used timed finishing? I played a guy last night who had Firmino coming in at the back post and he was timing the headers and he was absolutely monstering Luiz or TOTS VVD.

I like how my team looks but having the option of being able to throw it into the back post is something I might need to add to my game

I don't do it, but it seems to be very effective, get done by it quite a lot against TOTY Ronaldo it's impossible to defend.

I don’t use timed finishing. Have it turned off
 
I'm not usually one to take the piss with celebrations and time wasting but when a someone takes the lead against me and does it I just can't help myself.

He went ahead in the 30th minute and up until half time was taking the piss on goal kicks (like watching the slow motion of the keeper putting the ball down) and he took the piss with the celebration and the replay so when I clawed it back in the second half I overdone all my celebrations and did the same time wasting tactics on goal kicks, then with the safety buffer of a 2 goal lead started in the last ten minutes started pissing around with it at the back :D

I would never do that to someone first but if someone starts it and it backfires I will happily take the chance of the last laugh :lol:

Midfield - Best, Keane, Scholes, Giggs, Veron, Mikhi, Scream Schweinsteiger
Forwards - RvN, flashback RvP, flashback Ibra, flashback Tevez, Ronaldo if I can ever afford him

Still a ways to go but I just want to play with my childhood favourites.

I was tempted to try a 90s/00s Serie A team, all star Barca team or something as well
 
@Dancfc there's nothing more satisfying than turning it around and beating those types of arseholes is there? :drool:

I wish I would have gone down the route of a United legends team. Think I'm going to do that next year as it's too late now

Stopped playing the last few months after I got the Giggs/scholes/keane/best midfield but it's honestly been the most fun I've had playing it in years and the only time I built consistently for the same team all year. Didnt bother with Van Nistlerooy because I had Rooney and Ibra, also Rio because seemed too pricy (and Schmeichel/VdS because of Ddg). Recommend it for sure though. Will do the same next year... the dream is when they include Beckham finally.

As far as I know timed finishing only makes it more accurate and likely to go in, it has no effect on winning the headers. At least not when I do it and I abuse it.

Nice, should be perfect for CAM. Don’t think there are many better players than him for that position.

Yeah it doesn’t affect the jumping reach, only power and precision.

Only guaranteed SBC I've not bothered doing as there is no way to get them in my squad, but you're making it very tempting

I love his 88 card (my go to supersub for everywhere bar the official headerer guy position) so this will probably be crazy good. Given his height looks like you'll be able to play him anywhere along the front of the pitch.
 
Just seen @Eddy_JukeZ pulled God from his SBC pack.

Used him last night lads in a draft, he is absolutely unreal. I pulled Kampl ffs... But I better get him tomorrow with my rewards. He could easily play Striker or CAM, but he is one of the best feeling players I have used this year
 
Well I've made the same mistake I always make each fifa.

Ive Done a load of untradable prem sbcs throughout the year and during tots spending quite alot in the process and now I'm bored of the team and most of my coins are tied up in them.

I swear I do it every freaking year even when I say I wont. Sbcs will be the death of me.

untradeable SBC’s are the devil. Often overpriced and leave you stuck with certain players. Tend to avoid them where I can
 
At this stage of the game I don't mind doing some SBCs as the players will be s good as they are gonna get. Have recently done Goretzka & Firmino.. both are absolutely brilliant so im glad

Gutted not to have done Firmino last week. Convinced myself to wait and save coins for Tots Mbappe but regretting it now

That’s what I was talking about with sbcs, I did firmino too I’ve Absolutely no regrets with him as he’s a brilliant card but I only play with 1 striker so he’s dislodged my 93 Eusebio which i spent about 1.5 million coins on.

Now I literally have no use for Eusebio so that’s 1.5 million coins I d prefer to in my account now. It would be nice if they offered the ability to discard sbcs. If they offered me 500k to discard my Eusebio I’d do it right now. Same with End of era Robben he’s served me very well and won me a ton of matches but I have no use for him anymore.

I guess that’s how sbcs work though with you to the end.

I always say I’m going to but I end up doing them but I’ve no idea why as I’d always prefer coins over being stuck with players I’ve no use for

Yeah you probably need to be a bit more selective. Although I currently have Firmino and Eusebio in my team, I love them both.
 
Decided to go ahead and buy Havertz today at 2.46 mil. I just have to him for the weekend and im afraid his price goes up again tomorrow (which I think it will when people don't get him).

Hopefully I pack him so I can sell him and finish my team because as of now, I am a position short and 12k left to my name.

But my team is solid

Just seeing this now. I done it very late on and his SBC is where I pulled TOTS Hazard so it was a success :lol:

I have a feeling Mbappe is getting a 98 card, probably ST. it will cost a fecking lot

Yeah I've got about 1.5M at the moment, with a few weeks of rewards to try and get towards 2M by the time he's released
 
What's the preferred in game formation at the moment? Is it still 4231?

I definitely do but I see a shiny new card and want it. I’m a sucker I know I darent even think the amount of coins I’ve sunk into sbcs I don’t want anymore.

I’m the same :lol: I always think to myself how on earth do all my opponents manage to afford Ronaldo but then I remember back to all the shite SBC’s I’ve pissed coins away on like Limbombe and realise I could too if I hadn’t done those!

Stopped working for me. To be honest, everything has stopped working for me. I have the 91 Ronaldinho who has been unreal for me but since last weekend he's gone terrible, first touch is always loose and he turns like a bus. Hoping it was just the servers because he's been fun to use, but I'm worried they've messed about with icons to make TOTS players feel OP.
 
So scripting/momentum has been all but confirmed in Fifa. No shocks there...
