Had a decent start so far. 30 wins and 5 losses overall. Back to back promotions to division 7. Played 8 games in squad battles and won them all on world class. Probs need to up that to legendary. Now just qualified from FUt champs next week.

How are you guys finding Squad Battles on World Class difficulty? I find the AI cheats beyond measure 95% of the time. Some of the scripted things I see beggars belief.
It's really weird for me. Went through a block where I won 5 or so on the bounce. Next day I couldn't get close. Especially in the last 20mins or so.
I'd definitely say World Class squad battles are much harder than normal world class
What ratings were the teams you played on your winning streak mate? Was their chemistry at max?

Stindl is a beast in my bundesliga team. Wasn’t impressed with the strikers in the league so converted him to a ST and slapped a hunter on him and he’s banging them in!
Also, IDK how anyone uses Kolasinac. He turns like a rusty U-Boat but seems to get used loads

Yeah going well on World Class. The first few games were hard but you tend to learn against the AI. They keep the ball well but don't tend to defend to well. I'm going to step it up to Legendary soon.
On WC at the moment I find that my players can't string a pass together and every easy shot that should hit the back of the net either hits the post or some sort of miracle tackle or block happens.
Defenders on roller skates is another huge problem and I have no idea how to stop it from happening. I have tried everything from jockeying to setting my custom tactics, It seems that when the CPU wants to score, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
I've read on reddit that lots of people are saying Legendary is actually easier than World Class.... Bonkers
Prices have gone up he was 130k when I checked earlier. Currently doing really well from drafts. Packed some totw earlier but he was only selling for around 17k so I've kept hold of him for the sbc when they inevitably drop.

My two strikers are martial (lf) and mbappe. Both are brilliant, both 4/4 for wf and skills, both pacey and strong. Mbappe I use in a ligue 1/laliga hybrid (fabinho mid, lemar left wing, mbappe top, dembele right wing).
You must have got seriously lucky with packs to get a team like that so quickly. I've got Jesus and Rashford as my strikers and I'm happy with Jesus but I don't rate Rashford at all and for 40k I may aswell sell him and try someone else.
Got dybala in a pack and sold him for 370k (and then the standard other sales plus playing). 2 teams worth 300k each pretty much
Dembele is around 50k, mbappe was 120k, lemar like 8k, fabinho 3k or so, asensio around 16k.

Still don't get why people buy the packs instead of using the points for drafts. As long as you win 1 or 2 games you get better value than the store.
Bought Mertens, Thiagi Silva, Handanovic, Subasic, Matuidi and Hamsik since my latest team update on here. Now saving for Alex Sandro, Higuain, Chiellini/Bonucci hopefully before WL. I think 2 of them tops.

I've tested this team for around 20 games now. De Gea is the best goalkeeper I've ever had in any fifa. He's unreal and probably my best player. He's just so much better than the other goalkeepers I've tested. Comes out to catch nearly every cross. Can kick the ball all the way to the final third which is great for starting counter attacks. Insane 1v1 and stops most of the overpowered longshots too. He's gotten clean sheets in most of his games. So consistent.
This is my team now. I still can’t believe it.
Aurier is great considering how cheap he is. Don't feel the need to try out other alternatives as he's more than good enough. Van Dijk is a monster and stops everything. Bailly is even better. Must be one of the best CB's in the game, and definitely the best in the league. Shaw is pretty much the same as he was last year. Very overpowered and cheap too. Alli is insane in attack and very capable at defending too. His shooting is amazing for a midfielder and he has scored a few goals for me with his left foot too. He's absolutely great on the ball. Bakayoko is a tank. He is great at running with the ball and 'attacking the space' like Ando. Very complete. Excels at everything apart from shooting. Matic is probably the best of the three. His tackling is perfect, he's so strong on the ball and never loses it. He somehow feels agile. His passing is great and even his longshots are good. I've scored two or three with him. Lacks a bit of pace. Dembele must be one of the (if not the) best player under 100k in the game. His pace and dribbling is ridiculous. He's absolutely unstoppable when running with the ball due to his speed and quick change of direction. Isn't the best at shooting, but his double 5 stars makes up for it imo. He's about as good as Hazard. Hazard's dribbling is as good as you expect it to be. When he gets tackled he often magically manages to retain the ball. It feels like the ball is glued to his feet. He lacks strength which is his big weakness. Otherwise his crossing is superb and his finishing is the same. Scores a lot. Suarez is so good in this game. Scores on average ~twice in every game for me. His ball control and dribbling makes it so easy to create good shooting angles with him, and you don't really need very good angles to score with him because his shooting is insane. Great as a target man (not in the air) due to his touch, dribbling, ball control, strength and passing. I always look for a pass to him.
I have Dembele too, I do feel his off the ball movement isnt too great but he is really excellent on the ball.
Might try and get dele alli. Currently have a midfield of bakayoko, herrera and lallana, and was saving for Eriksen over lallana. Thought about Matic but both herrera and Bakayoko are very good at their roles. Matic over bakayoko is the one I'd do if anything.
OH also definitely get Valencia. The guys a tank at left back. 30k coins though.

I joined the league that gave the most coins in Div 10 and it was full of Ultimate, Legendary and World Class
Yeah caught me out too
. I went in with full Bronze, only to meet Ronaldinho in the tunnel. 1 win in 3 in the division, even with a full gold now.Even more of a chore on the app. Been playing it to keep me going in work but you don't get as good a view on the stats and league info so more clicking in and out of players.
Not sure what to upgrade. These are my two teams (crazy considering the game came out less then a week ago with the early access... Thank feck for that Dybala pack). Kovacic is surprisingly really effective, though probably the weakest point in the side. Don't see a need to upgrade De Marcos unless Semedo or Carvajal are that much better. Is Isco over Asensio worth it for anyone who tried both? Also for the prem team would probably consider upgrading Herrera to Alli (though not sure if that's worth the extra 30k), and Sane to somebody (possibly Jesus top and Martial on the wing?).

Furthermore I havent really played with Sane bar the Demo but I think his dribbling is really one-dimensional, would put Martial left, Gabriel Jesus up top and use Smalling, van Dijk, Koscielny in stead of Rojo.
Cant believe it but Mertens is even better than Mbappe, what a player he is in this game. That low centre of gravity is ridiculous.
Bakuambu has solved my striking problem. Played with his IF in a draft earlier and he is immense. Going to sell my 2nd team and build a la Liga sidr
Lemar is mostly there to give Mbappe full chem, thought about Keita but Mbappe wouldn't be on 10 chem with him. Sane agree, liked him at the start but probably looking to upgrade. Love Martial top, though I haven't tried Jesus. Might go for them 2, though his lack of size concerns me a bit. Martial is 5'11 plus the 74 strength. Mbappe 5'10" and same strength, so they're very similar and both feel great and can handle defenders for the most part.
Ah then keep Lemar, he is excellent too. His dribbling and driven shots are amazing.
Martial up top is great too, but Jesus is also so good, unstoppable. Maybe Son as an upgrade on Sane, but have no idea how good his base card is, or Mane.
Could never afford him last year, so expensive. Playing him off a strong striker is key.
Son is good but not great. Better than Sane, worse than Martial.
Yeah just thought about Mane. Probably going to stick with Sane until Mane's sbc is done then get Mane. Or just sell a few and do Mane's SBC... Not sure if it's worth it though, he'll definitely get other in forms.
Edit: Or just go for sanchez if i spend that much. Still will probably have to wait until after the first WL for that though.
