Gaming FIFA 18 Ultimate Team

I haven't even qualified for the FUT champions once, tried the DKTs last week but kept losing from the very first round because of the fecking delay in response I couldn't play at all. I have been only playing in online divisions and I have just qualified to division 5.

Maybe give it another go and try to qualify again, even though it's almost impossible for me to sit down and play 40 matches. :lol:
 
I was 4-4 against someone there and in injury time he put the ball down with his keeper and kicked it into the net :lol: thanks pal.
 
I enjoy the weekend league but I honk I’m one of the few.

I work a lot lately and when I’m not working I’m usually out with friends. If I do get a weekend where I’m doing nothing it’s good to have the opportunity to fully switch off and concentrate on something that means nothing.
 
I really enjoy squad battles, just about fit the games in, Sunday is the day you need to play 8 games before 4pm so that can piss off my better half. Don’t know how people do it with WL.

I suppose with me staying offline, the games issues aren’t as magnified

Yeah it was my first week last week and I really enjoyed it. Just wish it was harder to get elite so the rewards could be better. I understand why they are toned down as it really is jut about getting the games in.
 
Is Suarez any good? I figured out i should have enough coins after the weekend if i sell some unneeded squad players to buy Suarez or a cheaper baby icon, like Larsson, Crespo or Kluivert. Was thinking about Lewandowski, but figured out i should go all out and buy something more expensive.

Shame I’m at the match though and we get picked up at 10am so that’s basically Saturday out of the window :(

Well, yeah. Or, when I do play I definitely enjoy it. But playing so many games gets you tired of the game quickly. I’ve already played somewhere around 350 games already, and I haven’t played for a few weeks. Was always the plan to drop fifa for most of november and play every weekend in december. I’m probably going to skip january too and then return in february, and so on

Play at least 15 games on friday and you should be good :)

I'm doing the same now mate so hoping it works out, think I have bought about 30-40 MLS players so far, mostly all Silver cards, some rare and some not

Ya it’s good fun. This will prob be my second week in total going for Elite of some form. Was away last 2 weekends so that screwed me. Usually get 2 games of legendary done in each day bracket (not brave enough yet to play against teams with 100 chem on legendary), provided I don’t lose anything more than 4 it should get me in the mix for Elite.

SBC built & awaiting release:
MLS, Saudi, Ligue 1, Calcio A

What am I missing. I know La Liga and EPL, but I don't think they'll be released this side of Christmas.
 
I advice anyone to relegate to div 4 or 5 and then start winning titles again. It is so fun to play against people that dont abuse the game and the same old AI defending and ping pong passing. Even when they try to copy the youtubers they have no idea how it works or what they're doing so it's very effective.

And relegating gets you coins and so does winning those easy titles. You can literally win a division in just over an hour as everyone rage quits because you are way better.

When does it start? I'll try to get as many in as possible on Friday but I'll be at work from 4pm until midnight. I have nothing on on Sunday so I'll just spend all day on it I think :D

What would you expect those silvers to rise to after the SBC drops?

Have about the same amount of MLS silvers all bought for min.

Ligue 1 was 87k, I had quite a lot in my club (I never sold the filler as I knew I'd be building the SBC). Obviously Paris and Monaco are the most expensive, but opportunities for Moubandje (Toulouse LB), both Bordeaux CB, Darbion (Troyes LM) and Puyo (Angers LM). I don't have any of these invested fyi.

Serie A I don't know as I didn't save my spreadsheet, anecdotally cheaper?

Nice few quid there from the Russian cards I had in my club, 2.5k each. Definitely money to be made on MM if you can guess correctly.

I think everyone is on the MLS hype wagon now, it's the pick on reddit and EA forums, hard to get anything for min.

got in early and bought 100 Tim Howards for 350 each last night sold them all today for 450 BIN, quick profit and I can avoid the drama while people are prepping for the SBC.

Yeah, I've actually mentioned him 8 times in this thread. I had him before the 2nd patch when finesse shots from outside the box weren't useless and he was great for me. Midfielders aren't as much of a goal threat at the moment imo, but obviously he has a very well rounded shot and can shoot with his right foot from both close and long range. Otherwise he's very good both on and off the ball. He feels very strong, can tackle and his dribbling and passing is impeccable really. He'd be one of the first on the team sheet if I was making a PL team.
 
God I hate the game at the moment. Shooting is very one dimentional. Passing is very one dimentional. Pretty much everything is. Gone are the days when it was possible to score from a variety of shots, and keepers would be a bit inconsistent. fecking hell, the patches have ruined everything. The game is literally back to fifa 17. Why oh why have they done this? Was so enjoyable in the first weeks.

Excellent, that's all I needed to hear. Still need in form Young, Bailly and a centre mid to upgrade my team and only have 20k, so need to invest wisely!
 
Packed IF son in the Marquee Matchups. :drool: Not sure whether to keep him, he'd slot in at 8 chem (already play Jesus on 8 chem so it doesn't bother me not on 10) but if I sold him I could upgrade Herrera with Pogba, and potentially get Alba at LB and Valencia at RB if I changed the centre backs too. I have my fullbacks on overlap always and they're involved in most of my attack but I'm not convinced by Rose, Semedo is okay but not special.

Any ideas to improve? Got 200k coins without selling Son but could easily gather another 50k with selling players in my club.

I don’t change my style but sometimes my team plays amazing and others they’re in treacle.
 
Mbappe is easily the worst striker I’ve used on this game so far. His stats look great but G.Jesus is infinitely better.
 
My first game back in division 1 and I’m against this team. Wish me luck.

Yeah I know what you mean. Somebody earlier in the thread said they sold 1.2m coins for £84 or something. How much do you reckon that squad above is worth?! Insane.
