I've got a OTW kessie who doesn't go for much, don't even have a Calcio A team but for some reason I'm confident he'll end up with a TOTW card or something soon enough. Iirc he had a few IF last year?
How many games per week is Squad Battles? Haven't played it yet.
Up to you really - which reward tier you want. I got 12,500 coins, a jumbo and premium gold pack (in which I packed Kante) for something like 20 matches (or a bit less) played this week, I think? Ranked at gold 2. You only need to do a couple of matches for the lower tier rewards though.
I've noticed if you are scoring enough the difference in points between difficulties doesn't actually matter a great deal - scoring 10 on semipro is better than 4 on pro.
Someone on Reddit said he bought 48000 FIFA points. That's gotta be some 400EUR.
I was on the Fifa forums once and someone had posted full proof of them buying 600,000 Fifa points. Then someone noticed their record was like 100 wins and over 500 losses. It's just beyond me. If you want to play with good players that badly play seasons and switch up your team every few games. When I see someone who's ultimate team is just a Real Madrid starting XI I can't help but feel embarrassed for them.
I usually have two strikers with a CAM so can fit him in easily with Bakambu. I'll certainly be saving for his IF next. Seems a bargain and quite a big upgrade to his 81 card!

I’ve got half the squad but need to save for the more expensive players now.
If they're pro and do the whole esports/streaming thing then fair play, they'll make it back in no time anyway. Apparently some people get kicks out of watching others opening packs too, sure he'll have got a few more viewers on those uploads too.
Yeah it's a massive upgrade. Picked him up early when no one was using him, not checked his price in a while but I bet it's sky rocketed.

EDIT: He's on the web app but he's pretty much quick selling for max price of 120k. I picked him up for 83k last week which is a decent profit if I did decide to sell.

He's such a tool. I watched a couple of his videos and he acts like a spoilt brat with his Elite 1 rewards. I tend to watch A9 Skillz.

Decided to give online a go. It's just a horrible experience. It's hard to understand where people find the fun in it.
I did manage to get to the final on the first attempt, but my god the guy was good / had everything set up perfect.
He scored from kick off about 3 times. Every one of my players were constantly man marked. I couldn't get away from him. Every pass I made was intercepted as my player waited for the ball, his marking guy just strolled passed me, and the one thing that really confused me was Coutinho and Willian outdid Rose and Valencia for pace while dribbling on near every occasion. It was as if he had a pace card on every player.
He had Morata. Couldn't get near him. I have Morata and he performs half the standard as his does.

Use the companion app. I'm not 100% certain but I think it works across consoles. Could be talking rubbish here though.
He's basically extinct on the web app though. I saw 5 and most of them were 11 hours 20 mins or something.

I used to enjoy it...14 and 15. Hated 16 and 17. Enjoyed this pre patch, but they've basically turned it into 17 again
Divisions is a fecking aids fest. I mean, so was the majority of the WL. Everyone must be using the whole 99 pressure, 99 aggression tactic because the AI is out of control. You're been harassed constantly while some little cnut dances side to side using his CDM trying to cut off the lanes. Then when they get the ball back, usually near their box, they R1 X pass it ALL THE WAY UP THE PITCH and just L1 X it to your goal.
I got just promoted to Div 4, won't be touching seasons until something is done about the passing, AI help, and indicator.

Lads. Do NOT try Ultimate. The AI basically cheats. You are going to concede the most ridiculously impossible goals.

I wanna give it a go. I know the AI will basically just read everything I do before I do it but I'm willing to play the most horrible brand of football if need be. Andy Carroll straight up front and long ball fc here we come.
Ultimate reacts to your controller input before your own players do. If you make a move, the AI seems to choose the counter-move and start the animation before your player's animation even starts. This is fecking infuriating because it shows that EA can make the game more responsive but just don't for some reason.
Haven’t seen Kane mentioned many places but he’s a monster IMO. Bought him as an investment but I’m gonna struggle selling him now

Got Gylfi’s OTW last week for 30K which is looking a decent investment atm (up to 78k right now) Aurier and Sanchez and Ederson too who have all gone up. Bought Kane for 87k thinking he’ll get a POTM, he’s surely due a price upgrade too as he’s frequently going near extinct for 95k.
Not really sure what I’m going to do with the coins if my investments pay off. Was planning on Hazard but I packed Mane in a two player upgrade pack so just did the SBC and don’t really want to leave him out of the team now although I would love Hazard

Hope for a decent IF RW? The options there are lacking compared to the left side. Also Aguero is beyond a joke good if you've got enough to get hold of him.
Aguero I will definitely look at if Kane gets POTM and his value skyrockets. Mkhi I would like to get for my RW which I’ll probably do with my squad battle rewards this weekend.
Have no desire to upgrade my defence currently, Darmian is a cheap beast with a shadow if I’m playing 4 at the back but Rojo is such a bargain IMO. Not sure I’d have Bailey over him especially for like 50k extra. Have the OTW Sanchez who I’m not keen on at all but will try him again if he gets an inform.
Upgraded from Perotti to Hamsik, and holy shit the difference is night and day. Perotti makes good runs, passes well and all you'd want from a player, very efficiently. But Hamsik is another level altogether, no matter where on the pitch he always seems to be free and available for a pass, and when he turns his dribbling, both normal speed and sprinting is unlike anyone i have used before.
I got Insigne for left wing over Perisic, and it just feels like the whole team is faster and sharper. Those two upgrades alone have changed my team for the best, both can play my slower buildup play style, but the moment i see the gap they just destroy the other team. Played the DKT and not one game went to half time before my opponent had rage quit

Bailly whilst not as good as last year is a monster still and probably the best of this year's defenders apart from Luiz and Azpilicueta.
I've heard good things about Mkhi so I'll probably add him in for Salah next assuming he still has his 5 star weak foot.

I have OTW Morata and he's probably half as shit again in my hands. Never makes a run.
Have you tried customising your tactics yet?
Yeah it's actually ridiculous. I can comfortably beat the AI on Legendary but I got destroyed 8-1 the one time I tried Ultimate.
I'm done playing squad battles though, I finished Elite 2 the first week and Elite 1 last week but it was such a grind. Playing against the AI on Legendary is so tedious. They win every 50/50 and every player seems to have 90 pace no matter who they are.
Yeah, I doubt I'll put much time into squad battles again, it just isn't fun, no matter what difficulty you're playing on. I did actually get a walkout in one of the packs but of course it had to be fecking Pepe.
I've played 12 games on Professional on squad battles and i'm nearly Elite 2. Could bump up the difficulty but see no point when i'm not going to get top 100 and it's easy to win 4-0 consistently. Doesn't really feel like a grind either. I thought i'd struggle to get coins but i already have 2 decent PL sides without spending any real money. They have made it super easy to get coins now, they really wanted to try and stop coin sellers.
