So your saying the £500 I have spent on packs isn’t a good investment? Even though it’s got me all the way to division 6.
If you can afford it without it mattering too much to your life, then it’s all fair game I suppose.

How many still play FUT Champions? I don't have time any more but loved it last year.Need some advice guys, just managed silver 1 with 9 games to go. Can not be arsed with the rest! Play a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow but feels a bit sluggish at times even with custom tactics.

Neuer doesn't feel like he's worth the coins. Had Dybala before as a CAM and didn't think he got involved enough but people seem to rave about him up front. Any opinions or advice on what to change?

Havent played fut in yonks. The sluggishness is just fifa. Comes and goes without prejudice.
You can try a 4-2-3-1 if chem permits. Having wingers and two DMs is the best form to counter the meta 4-1-2-1-2 so you can stretch the oppo's narrow system and have your DMs cover the strikers.

I moved from the 4-2-3-1 so that would work in terms of chem. Just found it was a struggle at times to create chances with the one striker.
I played this formation outside FUT in normal seasons and enjoyed it, but failed with it in FUT itself. It's very hard to attack with it. There seems to be load of distance between the attacking players and one striker doesn't work well in FUT.
I was flitting between 41212 and 4321 for ages there but since the most recent patch I’ve used 433(4) and found it great and I never use any 433 variant. Smashing full icon teams. Hit g3 there with 11 or 12 games left but I’m working nights so I’m happy to leave it there this week.
2 absolute wrecker cdms set to stay back, I need them to have Medium or low att work rate so they actually hold their position and the Cam set to stay forward, custom tactics set with passing and shooting high to encourage runs and the rest quite standard, currently on a ligue one squad which is banging, just selling 86 Thauvin for Alessandrini as he’s a god.
I’ve recently started setting my fullbacks to always overlap and it is great provided you go for very good ball playing fbs, Walker, 85 telles, sandro, alba etc. High stamina and work rates and they always get back anyway.
Super subs you can’t look past sif Lozano and Alessandrini. Or any rapid meta players (martial, Dembele, Jesus)

@Levo if you fancy it try this, Bailey Sif is broken, so rapid great feet passing and finishing, 4 star skills iirc. Bernadeschi was quality for me, very tidy and great in front of goal, always got into good positions, but of a lack of RWs in serie A bit you could sub him out for Lozano after KO.
Key to it is to set Radja and Vidal to stay back and they’ll boss it. Costa to stay forward and he’ll play right on the shoulder of Larson, bailly and bernadeschi to cut inside and get in behind, or balanced if you like crosses.
Personally didn’t like Dybala when I used him, the odd nice moment but ultimately average, Greizmann is twice as good for similar money/similar player.

Tempted to sell almost my whole squad after the prices go up a bit after the FUT Birthday (icons and IFs) and wait for TOTS. Then put two teams together of 4 hybrid leagues with a lot of TOTS/TOTW players and a few icons. I dont have much time to play in March and could relax a bit til the TOTS cards come out.
Just managed to sign 90 rated Salah for 240k coins with his usual going rate 450k. Would it be best to sell now or hold out? I'm after IF Pogba and will be able to afford him now.

I would go with the first team. Salah is better than Mahrez and Pogba is not worth the coins (for me).

World Cup mode released yesterday, quite enjoying it. Good players are more obtainable, no transfer market.
It’s shit. Coins shouldn’t be transferred. Dead content. Will be bored of it within a few days
Yeah regret how many coins I put into it but also made sure to buy the players I wanted in normal fut during the crash for very cheap. But there is barely anything to do. Hope they add to it.
Whats this world cup mode all about? Do you get a starting team? How to you get players if no transfer market???
Sounds like they didn't even bother changing the gameplay this time. Disappointing because this is by far the FIFA that needed it's gameplay revamped for the WC mode.
You get packs every game you play you can buy packs with coins (only unlike normal fut, it's actually good drop rates). You get your starting team usually with some decent players (though mine was trash, Giroud my highest rated and none of the low rated were too usable)
I’ve only played a few matches, but it certainly feels slightly tweaked. Placebo maybe?
Anyone else having problems with downloading points onto the store?

Anyone know if there is a glitch that disconnects the game, but doesn't actually count the game as played even though your players use contracts?
I got it twice now on the World Cup mode and i'm pretty sure people are abusing the glitch because I did get my free pack. Also, both times this happened the opponent had a terrible squad with random low rated players and no chemistry.
