Might pick him up but I just can’t abide a 2 star week foot for WL, Bundesliga is v under rated though, funnest league I’ve used so far and get good cards every week... have you used SIF bailly? He’s unreal.

I’m trying to keep all my coins so I can do all the loan legends so at least can get a good 6/7 hours worth of gameplay with the best team in the game.
So far got Prime versions of Ronaldinho, Matthaus, Ferdinand, yashin, MVB and Bobby Carlos just sitting there. Plan on adding maldini, Ronaldo, Maradona, Pete Larsson and zanetti.
New OTW cards out, sold Pogba and De Gea to buy Sanchez for 770k. He'll probably drop more, but we do play at home tomorrow and I have a feeling he'll get a goal or 2 and be in with a shout for an in form so he'd probably go up after. And besides, 1 in form and he'll shoot up to a 92 so his price will skyrocket.
Edit: He's now at 665k... Why didn't I wait another hour or 2

Kostic won me my first 2 WL games, 4 goals. I have him as the right CAM in 4231 (don’t switch formation) and he is set to stay forward and free roam and he is ALWAYS where I want him. Gets to the back post when gnabry crosses from the left and his strength is brilliant. Long shots are brilliant with him since he has the trait, and his passing and dribbling make him a dangerous when he cuts inside.
My mates just packed United Sanchez. He's such a jammy cnut. He packed Ozil just last weekend!
Anyone have any tips on making coins quickly? I deleted my last club and now only have 20.000 coins now with my new club but need to try and make quick profit fast
Did two of the winter OTW sbc's since I had some left over coins and untradables (and since I'm happy with my team now that I got OTW sanchez in). Got Batshuayi in one, Deulofeu for Watford in the other. Happy with Batshuayi as he'll go from an 80 to an 85 next wednesday, since he already has one in form at 83 for Chelsea and he's definitely getting an in form for today so he'll go to 85. Deulofeu.. Could actually be a very good card if he gets an inform for watford, but we'll see for that.

Then snapped Meite on the cheap, cant go wrong. His 81 is already good, another IF and he will be a super beast. Tagliafico is another one i am confident will get an IF for Ajax, good LB
Plan on getting Laporte too to finish it off. Think he may get an IF with his passing a good candidate for some good ratings

Don't feel so bad for getting Sanchez as early as I did anymore. Got him for 770k, he dropped to 660k about 2 hours later but is now at like 850k. Thought below 700k was strangely low but worked out. He'll definitely shoot up once he gets his first inform.
Prices usually fluctuate with game results, the tottenham result would have resulted in a few cheaper sales ( don't know why people bother ) but with Huddersfield on the horizon people are expecting a good performance and possibly an IF
Brought a OTW Mkhi on the hope he gets in the TOTW for a quick profit.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think he can. A player can have only one card of his in the market at a given time. Since his OTW card will be in packs till Friday, don't think he can get the TOTW card. Although people aren't realising this and you can make some coins by selling into the hype

Why not? He could be in the TOTW, then you pull his OTW card and after Friday his normal TOTW card. You think someone scoring a Hattrick wont get a TOTW card because of a OTW that week? I would be surprised

I think Kane didn't get a TOTW last year in the weeek he scored 7 goals simply because his TOTS card was in packs that time
Isnt that different though? TOTS isnt OTW. OTW is related to TOTW, while TOTS and TOTW are 2 different categories. I dont know, i havent paid attention in the past, but it would seem illogical not to make it count. Thts why OTW are there in the first place

Yeah, he isnt great. There are some who love him, but every icon striker i tried so far was better. Shevchenko, Larsson, Kluivert even 87 Inzaghi. he is just too stocky and misses too many chances. Currently playing with 88 Owen and i like him, pace, dribbling and finishing is all i need.

Was playing UT last night and the game seemed very broken which I hadn't noticed before. Over the course of around 5 games I noticed a number of glitches such as;
1) Guessed the right way on a penalty. Buffon dives and then for some reason pulls his hands back at the last minute and the penalty goes in. It just went by his head so he would have saved it if he left his hands out.
2) Buffon makes a save and the ball rebounds to an attacker. Rodriguez rushes back to the line to cover the empty goal. The effort was a fairly feeble volley and no
more than a yard away. He just stood there and watched it go in even though I was pressing O to clear it.
3) Threw a throw-in to Pjanic who was free. He glanced towards the box and ran away the ball which went to an opponent stood a few yards behind.
Luckily I won all these games but the two conceded will have cost me a SB points. Really weird how this happened. Not like there was a patch or anything.

Was late to the party playing ultimate team this year, and after playing squad battles only i have decided to move on to online seasons and daily knock out tournaments. Any tips on formations and style of play? Is patient still better? I usually take an early lead but end up losing a late goal or losing 2-1. I have tactics set up to fast speed of play, quite high pressure and aggressive when closing down. I just find getting the ball to the front 3 quite hard to keep fluid and end up needing a blind reverse pass to maintain the passing move which inevitably ends up being misplaced or me just losing possesion easily.
When i played ultimate team 4/5 years ago i used to win alot by playing defensive with high possesion to frustrate the opponent before countering, should i try this safer tactic for now? I tried initially but ended up being under too much pressure in my half and conceding goals.

IMO defense in this game isn't really that good. I have found the best strategy is to go on and try to score more goals than your opponent, because both players are destined to concede. You'll concede no matter what and playing ultra defense will put you under serious pressure and you'll wait for a handicap for the opponent to win.
It all comes down to your personal preferences. What do you enjoy the most - patient/defensive or fast paced/aggressive? Both ways work well if set up correctly. Playing fast paced and aggressive requires a bit more in terms of tactic customization as there’s only one formation that works well with this style imo (4-3-2-1), and custom tactics need to be spot on too. Playing a patient style works with a few formations and custom tactics aren’t as important, especially when not defending aggressively.

I mean looking always for pressing and scoring rather than going ultra defensive and trying a counter from the start. I tried going ultra defensive from the start and I always end up getting pressed heavily and lose. Found it to be better trying to match them on possession and attacking to score rather worrying about conceding, then if I'm leading can through some quick players by the last 15 minutes and try to catch him on counters when the spaces get open, rather than trying to go with counters from the very start.

It depends on what your strengths are really. Sounds like you’re far better at attacking than defending.
Defending should be paid attention to in a similar way to attacking. Paying attention to one doesn’t mean that the other has to be neglected.
I think that playing with high pressure when the opponent has the ball in their half and switching to low pressure when the ball is in your half would be the best strategy for most. High pressure all over the pitch requires first and foremost very fast centre backs imo because opponents will hit you on the counter quite frequently.
Think I'm decent defender now. I was terrible but at the start of the game but improved as I played. However, I can't help but think it seems some attacks are always destined to be scored as a goal whatever you try to defend or get rid of the ball, it seems to always reach the opposition every time till he scores. Same for me too. Scripted goals are too common in this game that makes defense as permanent strategy looks risky.
