I packed him earlier this year but sold him as I had his red IF and needed the money. I dont use driven shots myself, think it's unfair but Lemar himself has got an excellent shot on him. Because of his lack of skill moves and two footedness, I find myself that I dribble more conscious and aware with him, he feels very quick and agile on this game. Turning so easily, great left foot.

Remember past WL, a guy was leading me 2-0 (cheesy goals), came back 2-2 and started keeping the ball, got a counter and played the ball to Lemar, scored a long shot reminiscent of Giovanni v Bronckhort vs Uraguay in 2010. Great feeling.
 
I need to have a bit of a moan..

This game is so fecking stupid. I've lost/Drawn 4 games now where I've had 60+ possession, 2 or 3 shots off the post in each game. The other guy literally scores from each chance. Mostly the stupid fecking drag back and cross thing that your defenders are constantly fooled by.

On top of that.. One game that happened, I brought it back to 2-1 with two beautiful moves. 2 minutes to go.. I had moved my team to ultra defensive and moved both Pogba and Herrera back infront of the defence. Yet.. for some reason, when he counters. My entire team is forward and he takes messi on a stupid run, shoots from an impossible angle.. Hits the post and rebounds to messi to score a tap in! That game ended 2-2 with me having 11 good shots (5 came off the post) and he literally had 2 shots on target.

WTF?

EDIT: I've always lost the chance to win Division 1 in this way. Stupid fecking games. I needed 3 points to win the devision with 3 games in hand. 2 draws and a loss.. All with playing better than the other guy.
 
Who did everyone get in their ultimate pack? I got some argentine keeper, threw him into the tradeable sbc and got marcos alonso who i have no need for. Sold him for an easy 200k and now i am thinking do i wait til the weekend and buy keita balde diao to replace izquierdo (both would come on as a sub so chem is irrelevant)

What's an Ultimate Pack? It sounds expensive.
 
Was playing career with a friend (halves) and this happened today..

All the time I've played FIFA, I've not seen a miss quite this bad..

Its a bad one... but not worse than the numerous times all of us will have gone to switch to a player with L1 for a rebound tap in only for the game to have switched on our behalf and the simple tap in becomes a pathetic lob over the bar

There was 1 a week during the tots, on a tuesday usually involving the minor tots of that week (e.g. 1 player from pro league, 1 player from eredivisie, minimum 70 rating) and completing all 6 gave an ultimate pack with a guaranteed tots player
 
EASFC TOTS players have crashed badly.

Got a bad feeling my pack tomorrow will be very underwhelming.
 
I got 4x tots players. 93 Thauvin, 90 Pereira, 90 Tolisso, 88 Johansson and MOTM 84 Goretzka.

My best ever pull for sure.

Nah bro from doing those SBC's for 6 weeks.....You get that special pack with a gurenteed tots. But seems like everyone got multiple tots cards.
 
Had about a month off fut champs but having a go this weekend. 20-6 so far! But had sooo many tough games against squads full of tots players.

I guess that is to be expected at this stage ok Fifa. How you guys getting on?
 
Played a few yesterday even though I have my last exam tomorrow. Really enjoyed it, not only facing superior teams for a change. Was better than everyone but lost once, laat minute goal vs tots Mane, ridiculous through ball which should be so easy to defend but completely outpaced my defenders. Will get TOTS Lemar after monday so will enjoy the next WL a lot.
 
Just played someone, 1-0 up they score a 90th minute equaliser with Son. Extra time, i score, score, score and make it 4-1 by half time extra time.

Then the game starts lagging...

Then i get the message that i have lost connection the ea servers and get kicked from ultimate team and get given a loss.

What should have been 9-2 is now 8-3
 
Has anyone become shit at this game overnight?? I was doing fine in online Div 1 and then started losing. Now 4 continuous relegations later I am struggling to avoid relegation in div 5. I have no idea on how to turn this around.

Yeah, but not to that level. Walk away from the game for a bit, i've never known anyone drop more than 2 divisions down from their usual spot.

Not quite as bad, but in Fifa 16 i dropped down from the first division to the third one and couldnt get back up for a season or two. I dont know why it happened, but somehow i lost so many games and bad luck happened too. I probably overplayed too

I took a break for a few days and changed my squad/tactics, then i went on to win the leagues
 
Thought I was done with fut this year, so a few months ago i spent half a mil coins on packs, got nothing as per, but now i got the bug again im fuming i spent it. :lol:

Back up to 90k. 10-2 so far in fut with my outdate teams. Got IF 86 rated El Shaarwy for 40k to replace 87 Insigne.

Havent used him yet but tasty stats, plus 4* weak foot and 5* skills. If he plays similar to Cuadrado IF then ill be happy.
 
Aaaand thats me done. Managed to get gold 2 weekly with 10 games left, gold 3 monthly. Barely played this month, only managing ~140 of the games. The one weekend i had plenty of free time was last week with the shitty silver requirements.

Heres to packing 3 discard tots players who will only be useful to boost squad ratings in the futties sbcs
 
Got myself elite 3, brother lost too many matches. Ended elite I think twice in June so hopefully some nice monthly rewards. Think I will end july getting elite weekly, everything goes much easier now. Dont shake seeing TOTS Dembele, Lacazette etc anymore.

Not quite overnight, but I went like 2 months more or less without properly playing the game until the tots knockout tournaments started, started struggling massively to get any sort of win in the WL. Maybe just lack the patience for it. Would have leads and then get bored and throw them away.
 
Just played someone who had a standard serie a team, with a few red players from rewards and callejon from the dkt. He goes 1-0 up from a penalty in the 8th minute from one of those where the keeper dives at their players feet. 27th minute i equalise, but notice during the build up how aggressive he was tackling with gis defenders and how much space he left behind. 30th minute i score again from a ball to the striker at the halfway line, a 1-2 with my cam and then straight through on goal, and then do the same down the wing in the 33rd minute and make it 3-1

He then jumps on his mic and starts shouting about momentum, and goes afk.

I was genuinely shocked that at this stage people still think momentum is a thing. When i concede, i know at which point i have made the mistake thats left the gap that gave the chance away
 
Wow so my account got suspended because I mouthed off at a kid who was giving it the biggen from kick off. Can't even access Xbox live for 2 weeks!

Maybe I need a break anyways haha.
I honestly ain't no troll when I play but if someone gives it I'll certainly bite. :devil:
 
My packs were shocking.

Finished 4th in the world and only got 2 usable players in the monthlies.

Weeklies were awful too relatively.
 
Was thinking that I'd never buy another Fifa and now I see that "Icons" are coming to PS4 and Maradona and Ronaldo are two of the legends.

Preordering.

Can anyone confirm if it's common to get legends when you do a draft on Xbox? The last I played 17 I spent all remaining coins on drafts and had a great time with it. Was very rare to NOT get a special Ronaldo or Messi card

I got gold 3, got Verrati, Falcao and Ricardo Pereira. None of which fit into my main team, but might mean I start a Ligue 1/PL hybrid. Got 128k left, already have 88 Pogba, 91 Sanchez, OTW Kante untradeable.

Saving my gold players from weekly rewarda for the futties sbcs if theres any i like the look of
 
Can anyone recommend me a good starting team for around 20k? Or if you can't be arsed with that just some cheap players that I should build a team around? Just started playing 17 after getting a PS4 again and I'm struggling big time.

Premier League.... Butland in goal, Smalling/David Luiz in defence, Kante in midfield, Martial as striker on 7 chem. The rest desnt really matter
 
Keep saying this, all these pro players and top 100's and whatever would be bang average without the OP features ; skill dribbling, shielding, driven shot. I cant remember the last time one created a chance vs me without skill dribbling or shielding and just trying to abuse it the entire match. It's so sad.
