Gaming FIFA 17

Had a mini session of fifa last night when i got home from work, the missus was asleep and the kid was grinding levels on overwatch so we had a late night gaming session. Went 5-5, leaving me 18-7 so far, 6 wins needed for elite monthly, with 15 games left. Should be achievable.

Hopefully I can pull that 92 red Pogba from the monthlies, or even 90 red Sonaldo.

Yes lads!! I made Elite 3 for the second week in a row. Pure sweaty Fifa today. I needed 3 wins in my last games and I should have lost one of those. This guy I faced had 20+ shots and scored a comical own goal. Then EA decided to pity me further and allow two late goals which I was embarrassed about.

Finished with 27 wins, elite monthly and gold 1 weekly. I definitely feel like I could have got elite 3, maybe even 2 if i'd had time to play and space my games out and not have 15 games left to play after a 14 hour shift at work. My concentration levels werent there defensively, and the games i lost were all 1 or 2 goals from massive lapses in defence. Mega teams really do make such a huge difference. Next year I'll be playing fut champs from day 1, not starting halfway through the season which should help with having a mega team much earlier in the year

Seems FIFA is rewarding the coin merchants again.
Can't win a game at the min despite being comfortably the better play with dozens of clear chances.
Played against so many teams full of toty dropped from 2 to 4 it's just littered with gash players with super players so simply knock you off the ball for fun

I think there's only a certain amount you can blame the game. If you're dropping multiple divisions, it's on you.

Despite being comfortable before hand then players emerging with teams made up of the best in the game? Not really

Anyone can beat anyone mate. A gold team can beat a team full of tots' and IF's.

It's easy to blame EA but if your good enough you can handle momentum when it's against you and still get a result. That's the difference with the Elite and the casual players.

I seem to only go through periods these days, i went 20 odd beaten then started weekend league won only 4 in first 16 and then 15 in the next 24.

In that period of loses my CBs would just wander randomly, my goalkeeper scored an own goal by standing up after catching it another time he just stood and watched a ball trickle in. Penalties given galore. Hate this game at times

How the feck do you make saves in this game with your goalkeeper? I've tried so many different keepers and they've all been gash so I must be doing something wrong. I've used the likes of Neuer, De Gea, 89 Schmeichel and none has done well for me.

You don't. It's all AI. I have TOTS De Gea and he is atrocious, seriously.

A team of toty is much better equipped and can get by without actually being very good.
Otherwise why would ppl get them in the first place, it happens every year, I get a decent team to compete then suddenly a new flux of players become available so ppl spend money on FIFA coins.

It can but sometimes the luck is just really against you, handicapping, momentum, FIFA-cheese can influence a game. Then that one moment with Son driven from a stupid corner and it goes in you know. But if you are good, most of the times you should overcome it if you're better than the opponent, but sometimes it is just one of those games.

its more the annoying super players who knock you off the ball unless you have you're own team of specials.
So many times I release my wingers or strikers and out of no where a defender simply brushes them to one side.
I suspect it'll die down soon but it's infuriating at the minute, it's the same prem team 9 games out of 10

Tell me about it, earlier today inform Sanchez falls off a shoulder to shoulder gifting a pen to the oppo, then my own player Costa takes a slide tackle but dances around staying on his feet and watches the ball trickle to the keeper.
Topped only by my Kinect picking up back ground noise and loading up NHS choices website in the middle of a match costing me a goal haha ffs

Its too easy to blame the super players for a loss. If you watch back the goals you concede and the 30 seconds or so before them, you can usually spot the exact mistake you make that leaves a gap. I had a game I was dominating yesterday, and ended up losing to a simple through ball because instead of pulling my Kante back into position i switched to a cb, then tried to close down instead of holding the line. And the gap between the full back and the remaining cb was huge, which any competent player from d3 and up will take advantage of.

My theory is that seeing a super team changes your mentality, you expect a harder game and therefore change your own gameplan. The best thing when you see a mega team is scoring an early goal, even if you concede straight after your nerves settle a lot

Yeah but you don't face a team full of toty's 40x in fut champs. If you constantly lose then it isn't EA. it's you.

Well I'm not saying I'm losing 40 times in a row, but I'm facing them atleast 7/10 which is far far more than normal

It's the physical attributes that annoy the most, i accept that I'll concede as I'm not perfect, but this is generally not an issue as I'm used to scoring goals or atleast creating chances.
But playing against inform Kante Son Bailly every other game and it's take zero skill to defend, even if they mess up and leave a gap it's fine because they can catch up quickly meaning my 1 on 1 now has to be taken from 20 yards out otherwise I'll get caught.

It's not easy to blame it's easy to win, why the feck is there a team of supers in division 4! Ha no one will have me believe a player in div 4 has earned a full team of toty

What if they dont play seasons, and only play WL? I mostly play during the week to kill time, or adjust to a new player during the week, and get the majority of my coins and players from WL rewards. Its not unrealistic that at this late stage of the game, someone who played WL every week and reached a minimum of gold 2 for 45k, after something like 35 WLs now could have potential coin earnings of 1.5 million before they even opened their reward packs. Most of my TOTS players are untradeable too from the upgrade sbcs, in fact of my team only Herrera (200k) Bruma (45k) and IF Van Aanholt (70k) are tradeable, every other player I got from turning in all of the useless players I'd got in my rewards that I kept in the club just in case there were sbcs that I could use them in (which there was).

You also have people from d1 who relegate themselves to d10 and then promote back up to d1, which is worth something like 150k plus match rewards, so you could just be unlucky and face someone like that

Think Im going to do the relegation. It's all so sweet up until div 2, the daily challenges are also fun, good teams but poor players.

Has anyone else got about a second of button delay? I've had it for months so stopped playing. Connection is absolutely fine.

Because they aren't very good, they squek past me with a team twice as strong and sweaty play so against players with equally good teams they'll get lashed

So I bought fifa points for the first time today.
Away from home today so not by xbox, so I redeemed code on browser.
Look at my FIFA 17 Companion, and the points aren't there. It's been about 4 hours now.

Whats going on here?

Managed to go 40-0 again.

EA tried their best to deny me after a BS 90th minute pen in my 39th game made it go to ET.

Can't wait for those TOTS packs.

Gone really tired of FIFA lately so I sold everything and spent almost all of my coins on packs. Obviously didn't go well so I ended up with roughly 100k. Bought the team below and started playing antifootball in the weekend league:D. Just beat some 'pro' kalled KcRomanian using this team:

I think it's safe to say I've never enjoyed FIFA as much as I'm doing right now. Most of the teams I face are teams worth many million coins even in todays market. Most of them can't handle losing against a 100k team, especially against someone playing the way I do.

Got some cracking messages obviously

I have a super stacked PL team with 5 TOTS cards, Red Son and a few in-forms. Bored of it.

Thinking about selling it all and trying a different League that I haven't tried. Bundesliga maybe.

Edit: Feck it. Selling it.

Just beat AppleJuice7093 with that team :lol::lol::lol::lol: he's the current #14 in the world. Game ended 0-0 and I won on pens :lol:

Why does everyone have purple Son and Kante and Alli? Did EA give them out for free or something?

Purple Son was way too inexpensive. EA screwed up.

He's basically a TOTS card that costs under 200k. I literally did him for free, because I had all the cards.
