Gaming FIFA 17

First WL in 2 months and started 3 out of 3. My 86 Memphis card is brilliant to use. 50 games, 42 goals and 20 assist. His 99 free kicks are handy too :lol:. Him up front with the 86 Lacazette and the 85 Dembele at CAM has worked very well.
 
Can someone help me out with this

I'm experiencing a new type of lag where the game freezes like a normal lag but then instead of continuing where it froze, it speeds up like 5x normal speed for one second. Usually I finish somewhere in the elite rankings. Now I've got 3 wins and 2 losses because of this. It happens ~10 times each match. What's going on?

Speed up lag. Its on fut champs because there is a dedicated server, whereas on divisions its p2p. So you have lagged, which on divisions means both players lag, but on fut champs it just means just you lag, and the speed up is your connection catching up to the game

Explains why I'm getting absolutely fecked. It's funny though, I've got a 100/100 internet but earlier today I couldn't even buffer a porn video. My life sucks
 
Started 10-4 so far, so on course for gold 1 potentially elite 3. The most surprising thing is i am playing some of the worst fifa i have played all year, can barely create chances but score the 1 or 2 clear chances i get then just hope i dont concede
 
Omg I've just made a massive mistake. Been trying to buy the 86 can all afternoon and I eventually got one for a half decent price.

Just realised I've bought the 85 version for 265k :eek::eek::eek::(:(:(
 
I didn't play last months Wl but was going to give it a go this month. First match was the worst sluggish input delay match ever, I'm not bothering after that one match.

I have a insane team (from trading on the market) with players like 97 Ronaldo, Best, Del P, OTW Pogba and Rio Ferdinand but the game for me is laggy and full of input delay in the majority of my matches. When the game was fresh I would put up with it but its just stale and not a fun experience now, even with those top players.
 
Gone from 10-4 to 16-8. Shouldnt ever play fifa hungover, I was forcing myself to concentrate so much that i stopped playing naturally and tried to force all my play
 
Just another query- Once TOTS comes out- do we get these players on unpacking packs that are obtained by completing certain Squad Building challenges or are they available in random in any pack?
 
So the pub i work in is having a fifa night for one of our regulars' birthday. I've been invited because they all know i play fifa, but no one has really spoke to me properly until today when the guy whose birthday it is came to me to brag about reaching division 5 online.

When him and all his mates talk about it they all say he is the best in their group too, i'm a d1/gold 1 level player and i dont know if they are sure what they are in for. It'll be like me playing against Gorilla or Tass.

I already plan to dab or big man after every goal, because that is what WL has taught me is the right thing to do
 
WL coming up, the one after next, has requirements of maximum 8 gold players in your starting 11 and subs. The prices of the best silver players has already gone up, probably will increase further as the week gets nearer too.

This is what I am planning to run, just need to get an IF Dele Alli

The only concern I have is the lack of a 4/5 star WF with King, Watkins and Gray, and whether I'll become a bit predictable.

Shoutout to 81 Ibarbo. 38 goals and 26 assists in 47 games for me. That's decent considering his 13k price tag

Taking a break from WL as busy over the next couple of weekends. My team is complete now i finally afforded Ronaldo. The only improvement i can make is to add a couple of TOTS players but even then it's a marginal improvement. I'm quite tempted to blow my remaining cash on Messi now. He went for 372k recently which is just mad for one of the best players on the game...he wouldn't even fit in my team. He'd only be used as a super sub.
 
I've just bought orange Pogba for 1.1 mill. It's a little risky if Pogba gets in the TOTS (surely he can't) then he will plummet but the card is amazing

Best player in the game imo.

Bench had Bernard for when the game gets stretched, I'm not a skill abuser so rely on pass/move or shielding the ball as my midfield runs in behind.

One question, am I likely to come up against a shit load of teams with a squad of specials?

Yes, but don't let that put you off. Sometimes people with the best teams are actually the worst players. I've had harder games against people with relatively normal gold teams, compared to people that have TOTY Messi/Ronaldo etc. You just need to go into each match 1 game at a time. You'll soon find out if they're half decent or not.

I'm fairly confident to be honest, I agree, when I see a team of legends I know that team has been bought not earned and it'll be a noob

40 games is a real slog to be honest, I find that when on a good run keep on playing and get the wins going, but once you feel like you're slipping take a break, have a cuppa and rest for 30 mins or so. Sometimes you can play yourself into more frustration and make sloppy mistakes.

More importantly when going into extra time make sure you use your bench. Have a fast striker, an energetic/pacey midfielder and another quick winger. Speed makes a big difference late on in games. When you're used to seasons subs aren't that important.

Bernard is my go to guy, I tend to swap my midfield 3 at extra time as they do the lions share of the graft.
Yer agreed, I can relate to playing yourself into bad form. I defend with cutting passing lanes which we know needs a great deal of concentration as soon as that goes I get thumped

Fair enough, I just find usually a quick/strong striker late when the game opens up can almost buy you a free goal as you can literally run round the outside of CB's if they aren't careful. I am sure you'll see what works and adapt to your style.

I don't get this assumption on this version of FIFA. Decent players who regularly play in the weekend league can easily get rewards for the top players. For the first time ever i have managed to earn the coins for Ronaldo since the crash. Most teams at this point have teams full of informs.

Because a team of legends would cost millions upon millions and tbh is very often the case.
I've beaten a full team of specials or legends with my 4 star columbian team more than enough times for it not to be a trend

I've messaged ppl before who have they've spent around 300 quid building the team it's just insane
