They're not exactly meant to be stats reflective of real life performance, just the standard over the top boost TOTS cards always get.
I get that but 99 ? Maybe if he'd banged in 30 goals but he isn't even top goal scorer
Yeah because it's a TOTS card, he's already had 6 special cards before it with his most recent one being 94 shooting so it was bound to happen. Obviously a base Lukaku with 99 would be ridiculous but yeah, it's TOTS, all cards end up being overpowered as feck.

TOTS Keane is fecking amazing
Bought all the united TOTS cards, all are amazing but TOTS Eriksen is really impressive.
I'm 15-6 so far in fut champs. I kid you not, five out of those 6 losses was against players who are in top 100 or has been. I google everyone I lose against and they all showed up on futhead and futwiz' fut champs leaderboards.
I'm not even angry, I just find it ridiculus that I've faced at least 6 pros in 21 games. I did beat some hyperteams and I assume those players were top 100 level as well. I'm guessing 9 or 10 of my opponents are or have been in top 100.

It's not really a hidden ranking system. Everyone knows if you go on a big winning streak, the game matches you up with more skilled players.

Had a shitter of a weekend. After a decent start (5-1) i played ii_bruma_ii who is a youtuber, finished 12th in the world last week, and lost to him 6-3 (he had TOTY Ronaldo and Messi, and TOTS Bruma as his front 3). From there went on a shit run, was 15-16 and with gold 1 gone, i figured gold 2 would be lucky. I'd already changed my team (again) and tried new formations but nothing was working. I'd win by 1 goal then lose by 4.
But then somehow managed to grind out 9 wins out of the last 9 games, finished 24-16 and kept myself on course for elite monthly. I'd have liked to have made it 25 wins or so this week and last, but 24 wins next week is all i need (hopefully with TOTS Sigurdsson at CAM).

Went 3-0 up on a guy. He spends the whole second half scoring own goals, waiting for kick offs, using his 3 pauses.

Started playing again and today I went from division 3 and only gone and won division 1 for the first time! Losing just 2 through the divisions.
My new team ive gone with a back 5 for the first time and its class..

Smalling has actually been similar like this for so many years in FIFA. He actually is that big, strong, fast, strong in the air only that he is useless on the ball, nervous, positionally bad but FIFA find it hard to translate that in the game.
Ah, the "David Luiz" effect.
It's why physical attributes are OP in FIFA games. Human players with brains controlling the likes of Walcott, Benteke, and Luiz make them op simply because the positional and mental aspect is completely impossible to accurately reproduce.
Exactly, I have Smalling and Luiz as CB's and they are so immensely overpowered. It's unreal. But Smalling has been many years, it's only know that people have noticed it, it seems. Even Jones used to be a few years back.
I thought it was just me this was happening to. I conceded so many eaids goals its untrue, this has been the worst weekend for soft goals i can remember. Just every game at least 4 times there's be a heavy touch or a dodgy bounce that led to a goal or a chance.
Fosu Mensah was meant to be the saviour, the beastly silver cm dream, but he was just awful at everything and gassed after 70 mins. OTW Kante was my midfield on his own all weekened. Hopefully once the rewards are out i'll be able to afford TOTS Herrera, and then can have red monthly Montoya back at RB on 8 chem
On the plus side, FB Ogbonna and TOTS Keane have been godly in defence

I tell you what. This is one crazy game. I'm usually a gold 1 player. On Friday i worked from home and started really well. I went 11-3. But then suddenly i took a turn. I ended up losing 7 yes 7 in a row! I was ready to pack it all in because everything went against me. Penalities, Momentum, lag anything and everything. I didn't play any games on Saturday because i was fuming.
On Sunday i picked the controller up having a day to cool off with my record being 11-10 and i went on some crazy winning run to finish on 29 wins to make Elite 3. Thats 18 wins out of 19. I've never had such a spell winning so many games! Cannot wait for my totw pack!!

I had to increase his dribbling to max with one of the chemsitry styles. The titanic could turn quicker then him. Glad this weekend is over so i can go back to my normal team.
Used Bronze IF Tom Davies for the WL and he was actually fecking good, probably end up keeping him in. 
That's how it works. You probably ended up in a very high tier after going 11-3 and you didn't go down until it was 11-10. Then you went down massively and didn't end up at that tier for the rest of the weekend.
I hate how I face pros sometimes even after 2-0 or 3-0
