Probably not because team of the season is soon approaching. I'd invest in the cheapest 84+ cards because there will inevitably be a ridiculous amount of squad building challenges around that time.

Yeah thats some sound advice. I'll wait till Thursday to make my investments. When the rewards get released it seems all the prices drop down with everyone undercutting each other.
If the fut birthday sbcs were anything to go by 84s arent a sound investment this time. With the high number of them on the market everyone will do the same and then they'll slap an 88 rating sbc instead making the 84s redundant.
Unless you buy then now with the plan to sell them in a couple of weeks when tots hype is at fever pitch and everyone else has assumed the same thing
Not a big fan of the sbc's, seems so much work. Think I'll just go for normal IF's.
Dybala's 90 rated card is "only" 1m coins. His 89 rated card was going for 1.1.-1.2m not too long ago. I think people are trying to sell off their players, which leads to undercutting, because the team of the season is nearing. Gotta make that coinage.

How about cheap IF's then? There's a possibility you'll need a IF in the SBC challenges. As my team is a BBVA/ BPL Hybrid i'll probs stock up on a few here and there. If they are not required i wont be losing out on much.
Herreras if looks great. Plus should be relatively cheap as hes one of the weaker ones this week with isco, di maria, sokratis, carrasco, de bruyne, etc.. definitely gstting him.
Im super excited, Carrasco has declined over 10k today alone already. Hope him to be around 140 k by thursday evening after the rewards.

High rated IF's are probably the safest investment, there's a few 86 rated cards that go for around 20k.
Anyone remember when they did the underrated players team a few years ago. All players that had a top season but never made totw. Theres a few players in wanted to get an IF all year that haven't got any that I'd be massively interested in!
I've done loads of SBC's and packed no one that's made me a lot of money despite opening 10+ rare packs and 10+ jumbo premium gold packs, made enough money to add Hamsik and Pjanic to my Calcio A team. My mate on the other hand, he managed to pack the Blaszczykowski (x2) and Abate Birthday cards making him 400k+. If you can put the teams together cheap enough then it can be worth it if you wanna make a bit of money, use Futbin.com too as people post who you need for the SBC on their.

Currently 200kish on ps4. That will drop tomorrow after rewards, hopefully nearer to 150k then he is straight into my team. Loved his 82 card early in the season, and his 83 is like another kante who just gets tired earlier.
Hes 171k already, could go down to 100k even. Going to get him probably tomorrow night or friday once the rewards are all out and the price settles a bit.
I have like 155k right now and made my teams, just waiting for that bit to get him.

Picked him up for 98k!!! And he's likely to drop further as more people open their rewards, and also do the MM sbc which again is a TOTW player

He's so good though, it was tough for me to hold out on buying him yesterday but i knew as soon as the rewards were out he'd drop. He is literally like a taller kante (my midfield is literally now OTW Kante and IF Herrera, with 85 Eriksen at CAM... all action, all over the place)

Does anyone got a problem in matchmaking in online divisions away from FUT ? I mean the ordinary online where you can choose a team and play online matches with it.
Have this problem for weeks now, I'm at division 5 and can't connect to anyone to play. I find someone then it enters that training before match , ages pass then connection down , rinse and repeat. Don't know what's the problem.
I'm playing it on PC. I was playing the previous divisions with weak teams as Galatasaray but I changed to BVB, can't belueve the problem is due to changing to a stronger team.

Picked up TOTT Schmeichel for 44k, he has pretty much plus 2 on all the card stats over De Gea, and I like having pretty coloured cards on my team (I feel like they intimidate people on the loading screen, any advantage is a good advantage and all that). I'm playing him with basic chem atm, and he is phenomenal
What the feck has happened to the market? I bought 93 Lewa for 565k on Weds evening and he's 400k today. Lucky I sold up the rest of my team because I've seen that everyone's dropped. Surely it's a bit early for the ToTS panic sell
Its never too early for that. There was a mistaken banner put up yesterday showing TOTS most consistent, which has got everyone more excited. And the current SBCs are clearly just a coin/card sink to remove currency before they do drop TOTS
Other than it being more desirable and probably a bit more fun, do the expensive players/IFs really make you play better? My highest rated player is IF mbappe and I can beat the majority of players i come up against.
Obviously you don't HAVE to, the best players can win with just bronze players. But the better rated your players are the more chance they'll score or tackle something they might not have. Some IF upgrades are worth it, others people say aren't worth the extra money. Either way you've got to try them.
Argh ended up 1 win away from gold 1.
This game is so frustrating at times, I went on a horrible run Sunday morning with the game lagging like made and playing like crap. Played my final 8 games tonight and won 7/8 of them, it just doesn't make sense. Server connection shouldn't be the difference at winning this game.

I'm considering just forgetting about it as well. This game just needs far too much commitment for little reward.I think I'd be up for doing the 40 game thing the odd weekend where I have no plans at all, but I wouldn't do it more often than maybe once every 4 weekends.
I've done it once so far and I really should've been doing college work, I knew it at the time as well but when you get into it its quite hard to stop! I can see it being a pretty addictive routine to slip into.

The prizes for 21 wins and 25 are pretty similar so I normally stop at 21 with usually about 8 or 9 games remaining. 30+ games is still very time consuming but obviously less so than 40.
Kante POTY is 92, absolute beast. Dele Alli YPOTY is 91, absolute beast. Pogba normal has gone from 400 k to now 290 k in a short time span, it's insane.
In those SBC's you need 11 IF's. For me thats just not worth it especially with TOTS around the corner.
You get better packs finishing gold 1. All my best pulls have been from those players packs.

They're not much better in my experience, most of the time you don't get anybody decent anyway. At a minimum you're looking at about 65k for gold 2 and 80k for gold 1.
This market crash is amazing. Picked up 87 Casemiro for 68k last night to throw into my second team (only just built it, 85k total, ironically to save money for TOTS by grinding divisions without using fitness cards, and store any WL rewards I get)
