Gaming FIFA 17

Didn't play a weekend league game this week which has fecked my monthly rewards, but meh did pack 85 Nainggolan (Briefly considered building Serie A just to use the dominant cnut but don't think i could afford as many worldies as i'd like) and a few other decent players, that plus selling my redundant La Liga/Bundesliga shitehawks leaves me with 430k to improve this;

Thinking MOTM Son or Aguero, any notable upgrades at CAM? Could get an improved Kante card, but meh!
Just walked the Daily Tournament with that team on my first go to qualify for WL again, its not massively weak anywhere.

De Gea or Courtois in goal surely. Butland is always terrible for me. As for CAM, perhaps one of the Eriksen cards? I have the upgraded 85 one and he is immense

Yeah think ill pick up Courtois, though Butland has been totally solid for me.

Looking at Rooney's purple hero card at just under 300k, crazy stats and the added physicality beats out Eriksen I think, though I could get an IF Eriksen and Son MOTM just about I think!

Strikers are all that really matter outside of Kante and Smalling :p
 
Just paid the buy it now on the wrong contract card by accident.. ended up spending 5000 :mad:
 
TIF Kane at CAM is unreal lads I'm telling you. Long shots, passing and physicality are all off the scale!

Hoping that last gold player is Morata after coming off the bench to win the game for Real the other day. I've got his OTW and he was excellent coming off the bench this weekend.

OTW Mane is going for 410k BIN, he's unplayable with a sniper chem on him as a striker. He has dug me out of a hole so many times.

If you go with Son and Eriksen you won't be disappointed either though, both are game changers.
 
After my long losing streak i decided to change my ethernet cable despite not having huge visible lag. Won 90% of games since, i do wonder how much of this game is just having the better connection than your opponent.
 
Going to rock this team for this WL. Ben Yedder is great at driving the ball forward to my forwards with Kante doing the dirty work.

How harsh are they on career manager mode?

The board harshly said i had to win the Pl, CL and FA Cup (despite half my team being teenage regans)

My level was 81, then got knocked out to a very defensive Napoli in the CL quarters and have plummeted to 60 despite walking the league currently

Will i get sacked?

Nice i particularly like the first squad. Yeah i swear down the bronze squad fitness cards are way high lately. I would usually buy them for 900 but now it's jumped to 1300. This week i've got players to rotate in.
 
I'm rocking Horizon: Zero Dawn for the weekend. Actually looking forward to the lack of stress and rage!

Still hopeful for the packs tonight though. Praying for Nainggolan.
 
Nainggolan's team of the season is going to be one of the most insane FIFA cards ever. 90+ in every category

I got 29 last weekend, best I've played all Fifa, with 2 games to spare using a garbage team that I put together out of dead players in my club. Just know I'm not gonna be able to replicate that this week using my team of choice. I just far more naturally play cautiously in defence with a weak team which I just don't have the patience to do wheh I'm using better players.
 
I've played FIFA since 2005 but only started FUT with my brother this week. Already in division 1 now and qualified for weekend league. However my team is so much worse than the teams I face, my starting line up is Lloris, Clichy/Kurzawa, Zouma, Bailly, Sagna/Aurier, Wijnaldum, Alli, Matic, Martial, Remy, Niang/AOC (French/Ligue 1/ Premier League). The differences will only be bigger in the weekend league I reckon, any tips guys?

Nice! He's like ~250k I think. Probably the best left back in the game though, considering his nif is beastly.
 
Decided to wait a week before selling my second team. Knowing my luck I'd sell my la Liga team and then pack players that would fit it perfectly so I'm just going to stack coins over this weekend league and see what I can add to the 140k I've already got.

If you're in division 1 then you'll be fine. Sure your team won't be as good but that team is still good enough (get Kante in midfield though) and the team differences don't make as much of a difference as player quality. I hover between div 2 and 3 basically, get relegated from 2 every time and get promoted from 3 almost every time and I end gold 2 in the weekend league basically every time, even if I'm not completely focused or on it. So yeah, in division 1, you should be able to get to elite.
 
Is going 7 chem on 1 player a bad idea? Trying to fit Dybala into a team and the best I can get is that.

He gets a smaller boost from his chemistry style, but if your team has 100 chemistry it's pretty negligible.

I have 7 chem Renato Sanches in my Bundeslaliga team and he is usually the best midfielder (only Embolo ST, Coman and Bartra/Sokratis come close overall). Switched the team round to get him on 10 chem thinking the boost would help but ended up changing what worked around him that let him do his job well

Both actually, I cant comprehend how some people have such good players. Is it by buying or packing, drafts, weekend league? What's most effective, the only reason why I have a decent team now is because I've won the title every time and you get around 10000 coints for that.

They've been playing the game non stop since it came out. I only started a few weeks ago too and getting a "decent" team together isn't too difficult, but getting the good in form cards require either doing well in the weekend league or getting lucky in a pack. Once you pop a good card to sell you can invest wisely and you're flying.

Use your coin boosts from the catalogue too if you haven't already. That'll give you something like 50k for free over a few seasons.

My best packed player was Sakho who I already had.. from the 15000 coins pack, it was so painful. Im putting my hope on the weekend league, hope I play some of my best FIFA and finish high, an In Form would be nice. A lot of people had black-card Dembele against me, is that a card you can win during weekend league? Or was it pure coincidence?

Yes, the others will tell you better but if you reach a certain standard in the WL you get an "in form pack" which guarantees you an in form card.

Obviously some are worth more than others. If you get a Ronaldo/Messi/Pogba etc you are set for life basically :lol:

Is it better to sell and in form card or to use it? I finally get why people go crazy on youtube when they pack Messi/Ronaldo.

Depends really, if you get a player that doesn't fit your team you might as well sell it and reinvest in a player you do want.

If you get somebody you like and will use then use it for a few games. If it's not much better than sell it.
