Gaming Fifa 10

no fraid not.

he plays under carefree, i just text him.

haha, i had a go at him for quitting, but he was like - i've already lost and was fecking about, i didnt want to waste the guys time.

I am LOVING the Manager Mode on this. Yes, too many night matches but I'm playing as Arsenal and really getting into it.

1. Man United
2. Chelsea
3. Man City
4. Arsenal
5. Liverpool

After 18 matches in, so quite realistic.

I disagree about that second game. I actually thought it should have ended much closer than it did. I had a lot of chances. Also not sure I've played it for more than you. I've barely played any Manager mode at all (a couple of games), no Be A Pro, and a bit exhibition. And some online games. You clearly deserved the win, though. As I clearly deserved the first one. But the reason I don't see myself playing a lot more online is simply because I'm getting sick of the lag. No matter how quick I react everything happens at a slower pace.

I'm going off online games alone. I had played 5 before playing you whereas you were on about 11 or 12 i think and that didn't include games against the likes of Dom et al.

If you thought the second game was close you're mental  You were a shit team though tbf.

nothing better than beating the madrid fanbois online, just beat one of them 4-1

nice:D

The more I practice, the worse I get in full team mode. My pro is currently first choice CB for Bradford though :)

some of the accomplishments are impossible to execute, like "dribble past 3 opponents in a game".

Damnit. I just lost my ranked games number 2 and 3, to a guy playing Chelsea. He had incredible luck in defense, with the post saving him and the ball always falling in his favor. It was unbelievable.

got a brand new PS3 a couple days ago so i didnt have to makedo with the crappy Wii version.

Virtual Pro mode is awesome, havent tried any of the others yet. Had a big fifa league with some guys from work the other day, using international teams. I sucked.

Some things im still badly struggling with though, ive been practicing my free kicks recently and they have improved - my main problem right now is i am terrible in the air on crosses. Can never get the timing right.

how is that impossible? its not dribble past 3 in a row

I just managed it, but sometimes the dribble doesn't count, you have to stand very close to the opponent and practically run through him for it to count as a dribble. will have to play a 10x2 min game to have enough time to dribbling past 5 to get that flair trait.

Yep – there will be an update to the game.
Yep – it will address some stuff raised here on the forums in manager mode.
Nope – I can’t tell you when it will be released – but we’re hoping in the next few weeks latest.

Hope they fix the weather in Manager Mode. When you play as United, 75% of the matches are in soaking rain, and after 40 matches approx. I have yet to play a single match in the sunshine.

They should also make goals/assists in the cups count in the players statistics.

Playing in the snow in sydney also doesn't make much sense.

No wonder so many of our players complain about the weather in Manchester! It sounds even worse than I thought...

And after around 18 games you'll get to play in the snow for 3 or 4 consecutive matches, with a lovely white ball.

You can barley see feck all, especially if you selected to play in your teams white kit (which I did, not knowing it was a snowy match)

EA and Konami always seem to feck up on the simple things. What genius decided it would be okay to use a white ball on a white pitch? ffs

Thats the annoying thing. The parts EA have fecked up are the simple parts. Surely the game testers should have picked up on things such as the excessive rainy night games and the white ball during snowy matches. Its so odd, and has me questioning, was the game tested at all prior to release. It all feels so rushed.

Maybe they became a bit slap-dash and lazy, knowing that updates could largely fix any bugs.

Essentially, rather than paying trained testers thousands of pounds, they're using the general public as testers, and sorting it out that way.

This could be an increasing trend now that the 'final build' doesn't necessarily have to be the final build.

Rooney on his 360 Gamertag

"My gamertag used to be Wazza10 but I had to change it when too many people found out it really was me. I still play FIFA regularly online though!"

I've signed for some Mexican team in BAP because I was sick of being played out wide for Arsenal. turns out this team play 4-3-3 as well. Facepalm.

Oh it seems I'm played a little bit further forward in this system though, good stuff.
