a great second half of the season for gerrard... but nowhere near keano yet... lets see how he does at the highest level and how consistantly he does it

Gerrard do have the tendency to lunge into tackles with his 2 feet, but he's only 22 and he's still getting better by the day... don't forget, Keano did end a certain ManCity player's carreer, and on purpose, mind you...
as for temperament, pace and passing abilities, Gerrard has the upper hand, imho, even in Keano's heydays. And obviously, SAF knows that. He's just sounding out to the the plc
But realistically, Liverpool would rather sell him to Real Madrid at a discount rather than to have their best player playing for their fiercest rival... we all know that don't we now?
