The British press has had countless quotes and comments from club and player regarding JSV's visits to Rome for treatment and his protracted future at United yet still, they are unrelenting and will generate any bogus yarn in order to sell their newspapers.
One thing I've come to realise over the years is that it's a prerequisite for sports journalists to have a knack for fiction. If all they did was write about sports and it's participants in an honest and factual way, there'd be too few jobs to go around.
When there's only one or two games to report on every week, they need to fill in the rest of the time with whatever the public hanker for; sadly, the public yearn for controversy & scandal rather than fact so the tabloids are only too pleased to oblige.</strong><hr></blockquote>
