Fellaini

You what? Vieira was a great CM because he ran - all day fecking long.

i

I'm not saying he couldn't run, and with great stamina as well, it's just that type of build makes them look slower and less mobile than they're.

This does not compute, at all.

I'm not saying they're slow, in full stride they're faster than most, but the size of them can sometimes make them look a bit slower than they're.

Toure can't play CM in a 4231 - major reason why City blew the league last season.

I just watched a video of Vieira and he was actually much more mobile than I remember tbh, my abiding memory of him as always been of him looking a bit cumbersome trotting back after giving the ball to Giggs.

feck off, bollox, you're a cnut. I was there - worst shit drive back from a game ever.

If moyes has said he wants two new cm's then Fellaini is pretty much nailed on to be one of them. They must be holding off pushing it through purely so as to manage supporter emotions- ie. marquee signing first then Fellaini and baines...

We over analyse transfer dealings; I don't think the club could care as much to sign people in a certain order - if the manager thinks he's the right player then it shouldn't matter what the fans think.

2013 not 1973 - we don't need me in CM.

even in 2013 all the top teams have a midfield grafter in in the squad - of course they tend to be more cultured than the leg breakers of old, but we have lacked that since Fletcher's issues (Jones the closest we have at the moment) - your midfield is too lightweight as well.

Utter bollox, Bayern have Martinez and Pigmounter, Barca have Biscuits, Real have Alonso and Khedira, Arsenal use Arteta as a DM...

You have listed a lot of different types of player there - I am talking about the ones who bring a bit of energy and get stuck in. Martinez, Khedira, Essien etc

I do not count Arteta or Alonso in the same category - they are the Carrick bracket of DM.

Cost £10M, better CM than Fellaini, did a job. Do I need to say more...

Ye but he is 30, hence the cheap price so you are not comparing like with like.
and he's hardly a Viera or even Gilberto which you lack.

Well everyone needs a Keane or Vieira but they don't exist, what people do is play the passer and live without the tackling.

the true box to box midfielder is the holy grail, but we cant find one so in the meantime I want to see a bit of muscle back in the midfield and if he can score a few as well then that is a bonus

One of the greatest games in the history of English football, imo.

Possibly the greatest single sporting event in the history of the human race, going all the way back to the original Olympic Games when the pre-Socratics held court.

 Taken from the official site. Don't know why but all the local fans I spoke to yesterday really warmed to the idea of having Fellaini at United.

There were around ten lads showed up in the stadium wearing Everton kits, some of them having "25 Fellaini" on the back. Feels like United and Everton are best pal now because of Moyes, and probably, Fellaini.:smirk:

His clause will supposedly expire tomorrow. I don't think we'll get him or are ever interested in him if we wait that long

Why did you put the latter part in italics? Are you writing a novel?

Leave him be. People deal with grief in different ways. If it helps him, let his write his novel. Perhaps that's where United will sign Fellaini?

Imagine Fellani and Carrick in midfield, this would be strong enough against any team we could play against.
He should be our no.1 target this summer (remaining)
